Almost 20 years have passed since Live 8 and the world is still in a big mess (probably worse) yet the music and the performers have passed the test of time. How great it is to be able to see all these performances at our beck and call. Kudos to everyone who was involved in the process - on site sound engineers, on site video crews, roadies who make it all happen. The final production crew who edits and tweaks until we get this amazing finished product. Hats off to everyone. 🧢

Oh yes, she has the range and ability to project (and colour) her voice like a flame - a quality very reminiscent of great opera singers. By the way I think she did "Little Bird" twice that day - I have a clear memory of seeing her performing it on a smaller stage out in the street (watched it on TV) sometime in the afternoon, with a smaller band, a more stripped-down version but with just as fine vocals.
