I always felt that the identity of the Female Titan is not as important as why she's doing all of this. It could have been an entirely new character, and the question of "Why?" would still be there, and just as important. I would rate it 9/10, the reveal was done realy realy good and the acting (voice) was fenominal. Also this was a fantastic character development story for many, i loved it.

spoiler: Now I understand Eren's violent reaction to Annie's deception. Eren hates it when people don't live up to his expectations of how they should behave. He argues with his mother when she forbids him to join the Survey Corps, calls Hannes useless for taking time off from work, argues with Armin over bread, etc., i.e. all these people don't behave the way Eren wants. This is reinforced by his black and white morality and clear line between good and evil. At first glance, it seems that he was upset only because of his great friendship with Annie, which arose over the years of training with her, but the training began closer to the end of the cadet corps, and before that he had a very biased opinion of her - "Sometimes she is scary as a titan." And in the finale, when Eren tells Armin that he is disappointed in a world full of people, this is further proof that Eren has a very strong belief in his own expectations of other people's behavior.
