Okay I’ve been vegan for over a year in a non vegan household and I’m the same age as Annie and here’s what I have to say: - I really appreciate the fact that Annie is willing to try the vegan diet and I’m sure that her doing this will inspire a lot of people to make changed in their own diet - Annie try tofu scramble!! Its like scrambled eggs but made with tofu. It sounds really weird, I know, but it’s so yummy! - always get beans that are like the chickpeas ie already cooked. Cooking dry beans takes HOURS - I personally find it very triggering when people say things like “it’s more expensive” “you’re torturing yourself” “where are you gonna get your protein” etc because none of that is true and it just adds to the negative opinion that people have about the vegan community - I could see you being vegan once you move out cause then your parents wouldn’t be there obvi but until then you have four+ years to continue learning about veganism(if you wish) and maybe even veganizing your parents recipes??? - vegan protein sources: beans, tofu, non dairy yogurt, protein powder, seitan, tempeh, protein pasta, nuts, seeds, nut butters, there’s SO MANY!! Okay that’s it goodbye have a nice day yall

Hii! 😊👋🌿 I’m a vegan and here is my FAV avocado toast recipe that actually has some good protein: •season with salt & pepper •sprinkle roasted chickpeas on top •drizzle balsamic glaze For roasted chickpeas: •drain chickpeas in a strainer and rinse under cold water •put them on a cookie sheet on parchment paper •drizzle vegetable oil, salt & pepper, & add another searing if you’d like •cook for 15 mins on 450 -these make a SUPPERR addicting snack and make a great source of protein 😆💗 also I love you so much Annie!!!

Hey Annie, firstly just wanna say your killin' it and you really inspire me! And also just wanted to help you out with the whole vegan eating. I have been vegan for a couple years now and I get that you're probably not gonna go vegan however it is easier than you might think. For example the whole "protein issue" getting enough protein in a vegan diet is actually pretty easy if you know where to find it, you can get protein from beans, nuts, legumes, and more! Mushrooms are a great source of protein if you like them, also nutritional yeast has a decent amount of protein in it as well as B12 which is necessary in all diets especially plant-based ones. A vegan lifestyle suits me very well but I see how it may not be sustainable for others, if you ever give it another shot I've got the most amazing vegan pancake recipe and your welcome to have it! Amazing video Annie can't wait for the next one xx

Hello lovelies! I am a vegan of 5 years! Just some notes about the video and veganism when it comes to health! People who eat meat are statistically more likely to get cancer and cardiovascular disease! Eating red meat has been labeled as a number one carcinogen! This means it is CANCER causing! Not to mention as a vegan I get more than enough protein in one day! I think not having as much protein when you have still have had enough outweighs killing an animal, long-term-wise causing cancer(even in chicken) being a very big contributor to global warming but get more than enough protein. Some good documentaries are- "What the Health" and "Game Changers" these films only focus on the health reasons too!! Stay safe!! XOXO

I´m a vegan, and something I think people misunderstand is how easy it is to get protein. when you get protein from meat it is because the animal got it´s protein from plants. No animal or egg contains protein naturally, just like humans don´t. Not trying to sound annoying, just putting it out there:) p.s your overnight oats contained protein from the oats and nut butter. love your videos btw! And it´s a lot easier to go vegan if you do it for the animals. recommend researching about it( for those who want to go vegan but find it hard) :)

Hi Annie! When my parents make beans all they do is (we buy the canned ones) turn on the stove, dump them into a pot then fill the can up a little over half way, dump it into the beans and let them boil. Then we add salt (you can add whatever seasoning you’d like tho) and that’s how we make our beans! I hope this helps and that you try it to see if it’s easier.

Chicken: 23g protein per 100g Black beans: 22g protein per 100g I knoe that it doesnt feel like you're getting enough protein but if you eat as much whole grains, nuts, seeds and leafy dark greens as you did you are fine! Especially if you have a dish with beans/tofu (or really any kind of extra protein) that day you are good to go. No powders needed. Just wanted to put it out there :)
