Great video ❤ I agree, a good seamstress is worth her weight in gold! My grandma taught me that for your gowns that only have a beaded bodice, you can fold it over a hanger at the waist so that it takes the weight off the shoulders, but allows the skirt to still hang. Happy Holidays, all 🎉

If anyone is extra petite like myself, here’s a great tip! My shoulders are more narrow than average. Therefore, the average sized hanger stretches out the shoulders on many most of my garments. The average hanger is 15-17 inches across. My hangers are 13 inches across and it makes all the difference in holding the shape of my clothes! 30 yrs ago, I actually had custom wood hangers made. Best investment ever. However, these days , they can easily be ordered on Amazon at a reasonable price! Lol
