Technology kills motivation. I have so many things I want to do, and I always end up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn. I know I should be practicing violin, or researching life paths I want to explore, but I get sucked in to the black mirrors. Watching your videos reminds me that I have dreams I need to chase, and that now is the time to chase them.

Make a to-do list every day and when you have a break in between, set a timer for 30-40 minutes and as soon as it goes off jump on your next task! and tick off your list as you go.That really helps me :)

When you start using less of your time looking at a screen you will get used to it and after some time you no longer want it that much. But in the beginning you will need a lot of self discipline because we are literally addicted to our screens.

such an inspiring story! I resonated so much. When I was a kid I completely lived in my own fairytale and all I wanted to do was dress like a fairy, ride horses and draw, and I was 18 and started traveling on my own I remember feeling exactly the same way and it's so important to follow these feelings. Life really is whatever you make it and there are so many inspiring people using social media to create and connect.

wow this video came through as a divine message to me, just clicked it ~randomly~ and was jaw dropping the whole time. i just quit studying naturopathy at uni because i was struggling to stay focussed and realised i felt deeply creatively stifled. i have gone back to creating art every day without really knowing where its taking me because its what i always go back to (when i was a kid being an artist was the only thing i ever said i wanted to do when i 'grew up')... so many things about our stories are parallel, im taking it all as an affirmation !! thank you (:

Girl you have no idea like i relate to you on a spiritual level! Seriously! Like ever since i remember ive been running around observing and creating, making little crafts and the biggest joy I got was when someone else cherished something I made. I dreamed of having this little place to create, where people could come and see my creations and perhaps get them a new home. As ive grown , ive always kept touch with my creative energy, but self growth and healing has become a big part of my life. As I come into my last years of high school, Ive been thinking hard wether art school is really for me, If its the kind of environment in which ll thrive. I mean I love art its what Ive being doing all my life, but on these last couple of years, Ive come into a different path of self realization , where I also want to heal, love and live . if only there was a way I could put both my passions together art and healing...I always thought. I don't know exactly how, and i trust my intuition will guide me through these clouds of fear and doubt that pass through sometimes, regardless thank you so much for making this video... I feel inspired to start creating without expectation and just see what happens. To start making visions into reality.

Annie how do you stay sane and mentally healthy with social media? and how do you never become the slave of the number of followers or wanting more and more etc. Because you seem so happy for a very long time and don't get effected despite you are using social media and KZbin to grow your business:) Is it because you only care about your art and your happiness? ❤️
@AnnieTarasova16 жыл бұрын
Thats such a good question! I think its because I don't prioritise social media, I have too many other things to think about rather than that, like doing what I love - painting and creating and mailing orders around the world. I learned to view social media as a way to inspire and spread the message about my art! I don't go on it much except to upload, and I use it to follow other artists and to inspire myself through them instead of comparing :) x

I was just talking to someone recently who makes mobiles (like the things that hang above a babies crib!) Out of sticks and seashells and rocks from the beach, sold them at a market and made $1,500 in one weekend! Make art out of sticks anything is possible
@RosemarySprings6 жыл бұрын
Literally that can be your project. Make a project every month that has to do with sticks. Build them, glue them together, draw them, write about them. Trust me it works! My project is about trees. I go through depression and anxiety. It’s so relaxing to draw a whole bunch of trees and paint them. I even sell my art. Even if you can’t draw, draw a whole bunch of stick figure sticks and watch how good you get with drawing them. After a couple of months in best believe you will get better and better.
