Annke NCPT500: 3K PT colour night vision security camera

Annke has an entire series of NightChroma cameras that can produce colour feed and recording at extreme low light conditions. With a help of a supplement light source the night recordings almost look like daytime footage with correct colour representation of the surroundings. I have received the NCPT500 for review, which is a 3K pan and tilt camera.

I just recently setup this exact camera, but for the life of me I can't see how to use just regular IR mode for night time like you have in the video.

I just turned off the spotlight to come on automatucally, and it stays in IR mode.

WishnI had brought these cameras. I can't get to the RTSP on my cameras by ICsee.

Thank you Csongor. You have the best review of the NCPT 500! Very comprehensive. What to know if the supplement light can be turned off? I think yes but just want to make sure. Also, very important, does the pan and tilt work in Blue Iris? Also, someone on AMZN stated the Windows client app requires outdated Active X. Is that accurate? Does Annke have a smartphone app?

Thanks. Yes you can turn off the supplement light, but the image quality will be less good. But if you have some illumination in the area from streetlights, that might be enough. I can't comment on the Blue Iris, I don't have that system. As far as I can see the Windows client works natively, the simple web interface needs the ActiveX client to be installed. And yes there is a SmartPhone app which I showed in my other reviews, but I must have missed here.

@@csongorvarga As a follow up after looking at the spec sheet, have you tried running the cam at 30fps (2560 x 1440 or 1920 x 1080) to see if the motion blur improves (lessens)? It seems the default is 20 fps?
