Same here! I was about to give up. I only bought the game last week on Steam but have had to restart so many times as I keep getting lost in the game with so many things happening. I have slowed right now and playing along and it's great!

I bought Anno 1800 after playing a lot of Tropico & wanted something kinda similar to play. This definitely has a steeper learning curve. So grateful I found these videos...

I am so glad you reiterated to viewers to take our time in this game. When they ask for things in the Campaign, you do feel like it's urgent and you tend to race to get these things done (which is what I was trying to do!). It can be very overwhelming if you don't know what to do. I feel so much better going through these guides and knowing that slowing down is better in this game. Excellent guide again! Thankyou! 😀😀😀

It is so crucial! Every time I get into trouble in this game it is because I go too fast. Economies and production chains take a long time to smooth out and become noticeable. If I build too fast, I often get into trouble that I can't get out of haha

Tip! Don't upgrade your warehouse! You will pay more upkeep (50 coins ) for 1 extra ramp. While if you build 1 more warehouse you get 2 more ramps for only 20 coins upkeep.

I played Anno 1404 and finally gave up. Trying to figure out a game like this on your own is too much like work. And having to sift through YT to get answers is annoying. If you think about the time and money a game like this costs you;d think they could devote a little time to create a detailed guide to the mechanics of it. After starting over too many times I just quit. Guess I'll give this one a shot. Thanks for the it's great.

@@DrIncompetent I agree. We are playing on PS5 so not all control tips translate. Income is our big issue. Been experimenting with keeping it positive.

Oops, I guess I should've opened that letter. I didn't & while I still got the shipyard, I could've had the debt settled as well. 😕
