When u click on a zoo there is a button up of exibition know as park click on it u will be able to make a place for 🦋 and same in museum place those parks and equip those butterfly in there

Love you playing Anno 1800 ! For the Zoo you need to get the parks first and then you can put animals in it, its the same with the museum.

When you switch to the new world from the old world I keep envisioning the Jackdaw docked at one of your ports and a white hooded individual roaming the rooftops in town. Also a good name for a ship of the line: Excelsior. Carrots!

Hi raptor, I just wanted to point out it says Plus 0 percent so there's no bonus from items or people but there's still the base chance for it to succeed And I think the problem with the museum is that you didn't actually discover the era's because it says the expedition returned early, so that means it didn't discover anything

The museum works like the Zoo, you need to place exhibition grounds that belong to the museum/zoo, so you need more place for them

If you destroy the harbor at the islands you aren't using then it'll allow your influence to regenerate better, because nothing is being done with them in a way it "counts against" you

For the museum and zoo, you need to place squares around the main building like you do for farms. The zoo uses animal houses (biomes) and the museum builds exhibit houses. So clear some space around the zoo and museum

Hi Raptor, I think those few ships of Beryl's just sat in the New World @ 8:12 are trade/escort ships with no destinations as you conquered those islands, so they are essentially "lost". Easy pickings to destroy and loot. Loving this series, keep it up.

@Raptor the way to use the museum and zoo is to place it in an open area and place the parks around it like farms, then only you will be able to put in the butterflies and horse etc. Some new names for your transport ships, Himalayan Express and the Raptor Matter. I'm liking the names given to your other ships!

Purchasing ships from the Queen is going to be more useful than the quests when it comes to getting the specialty ships (Royal Ship of the line, and ironclad battleship).

You can build Gunboats in order to escort your trade ships, since they cannot protect themselves.

On your expeditions raptor, you can change the port at which you embark from and when they return they automatically return to the starting port. That’s why those stones automatically got dropped off Viper

You should see what happens if you request a trade right from the princess, maybe there is an island you catch the first time. Plus I still want the name "Indominus" for a warship, and for a transport ship " the Pony Express" and have the horse you just discovered stay on it as the ships mascot.

Hi, a lot was said said already. To add them up: 1. read more and click more icons(start with zoo and museum) 1a. Read the description of the goods when making expeditions - snaps helps medicine, clay and furs help hunting 2. The town hall affects the service buildings in it's range (coloured in blue) so you want as many in the town hall with people in it. I don't this a townhall has any effect of empty. 3. Paved streets increases the range of the buildings. I will add more as needed

The potatoes on your expedition don’t apply the +5 medicine unless you bring 50 tons of potatoes. That’s the requirement for that bonus. You brought/only had 46. Read the description!

For the expedition stuff, the numbers for choices are the added bonus to the chance of success (which is why there is a plus right before the number). I’m not sure the base value, maybe around 50, but that seems like how they did that. I think that’s one of the weaknesses of the game at this moment, it explains so little about the small things that are actually important that confuse the player.

Now that you have got a lot of artifacts you should expand your museum with exhibitions (parks, works like farms) and put all those artifacts to good use to attract visitors and more money

You misunderstood the people that give increases to public service ranges. They don't increase the area of effect of the town hall, they increase the area of effect of specific public service buildings that are in range of the town hall. The building who's range they effect are in their description. Same thing with the church, the priest gives +5 happiness to everyone who is in the public service range of the church, because the church itself is in range of the town hall. As others have said, I think you misunderstood the %chance feature in expeditions. Its +%chance not just % chance. If considered in this way, it is still possible for something listed as a +0% chance to still succeed, its just a lower chance than if you're prepared with other people/items. There's always a base chance to succeed. The prison has people that are more geared to naval power, force, expeditions, I wonder if madam kahina or other NPCs have people that are more geared to the other types like diplomacy/faith/medicine Do you know why your money fluctuates so much? As you have noted, citizen taxes are your largest source of income. But I don't think you've noticed that citizens pay more taxes the happier they are. When your trade routes are setup so that there is a lack of beer/rum/shnaaps, or when you are missing a pub/church/variety theatre somewhere, your taxes are not as high as they can be until that issue is resolved. Try hovering your mouse over beer in the happiness tab of a house and you'll see what I mean p.s.carrots
