I love this! Been looking for an Anno 1800 that was less battle-focused and cared about the chill, aesthetic play style. The moment you mentioned other people slapping down tons of stuff and then being in the red and how you won't be doing that I knew I'd love your series. Thanks for posting this!

Thanks so much for this! I am new to ANNO and LOVE how you explain the intricate workings of the game mechanics and helped me get a better understanding 😍 I will continue the whole series!

Hope everyone enjoyed the first video in this series! It's only been a week since it was uploaded and the series has really taken off! Please let me know what you think of it so far and what your favorite part or worst part was! I'm no expert at the game, but I love sharing my game time with you all! Also, I know my mic isn't the best quality and I REALLY apologize for it. I have finally gotten it fixed though and, starting with episodes after #21, it isn't a problem anymore.

Yes fun # 1 in any game your not making money with. For me, aesthetics are always up there. Somedays it's #2, somedays it's 10. Gaming is complex and we all have perspectives. Thanks for the upload man.

Omg taka your a genius. I love the 10x10 grid. Soooooo much easier. I can even put a lumberjack mill inside it's own square right in the middle of town and it works!!!!

Stumbled across you and glad I did! Subscribed and up to episode 5 so far, but wanted to let you know you are doing great and no worries about mike issues or how much or little you talk, very entertaining and I personally enjoy your style of city building, so keep it up, you have a fan here! I am a long time Banished player, also play EU4, Crusader Kings, and Hearts of Iron; Anno 1800 checks a lot of those boxes with gorgeous graphics and am glad to have found a player like you to watch and hopefully get some ideas on play style as well. Keep up the great content and I look forward to catching up eventually! Take care!!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support and feedback! Hopefully you'll find it a bit easier to catch up as you move along with the series... I shortened the length of episodes to make them easier to digest quickly 😄

@@TakaKZbin, I am sure I will enjoy! Curious if you have ever tried key mapping as shortcuts for placing buildings, roads, copying, etc.? I was used to right click doing other things from other games I have played so I had to deactivate the popup shortcut you use, it was driving me nuts! Maybe you use it to show the viewers what you are doing, and I understand that, just wanted to throw key mapping out there, it makes your life so much easier in this game! Thanks again and take care!

@@krellblue1 I played around with shortcuts some, but I found the right click wheel and the shortcut icons on the lower right to be more useful for me.

You took the best island imo ;) the "half moon" levitated background and the mountain. Looks good. I go for looks over mats. As you get that anyways.

I rerolled the seed several times to get that island! It may not be the most space efficient but it looks amazing!

First, great video really enjoyed it and will be watch/listing to the est of them as well, when I am play the game, second, keep your grub hand of Annie Harlow, as she is mine. Here a few tips on things that I do to increase attractiveness of my islands and a nasty little trick that I do with to the pirates. Attractiveness, Engineers and Investors homes, build a 6x5 square of farmer houses, place a road around the outside and on the inside build a sort of garden/park using ornaments and pathways and separate the road buy using the Artisans, straight hedge for engineers and the Engineers straight fence for Investors, now with the bank, hospital, museum, university and zoo, build them inside of a garden/park. Pirates, what I love to do with this guys, is once you have defeated, place mines in the entrance to their hideouts as they come back after you have defeated them and it makes them mad.

At first I was thinking, why can’t he just get on with the game. But as minutes passed and I kept watching, I was so satisfied and actually loved how he discussed his plan and how he set up his game. I don’t know why but it was just so satisfying. Anyway, imma binge watch this series.

Hahaha yeah I am a bit slower and more deliberate with how I play. I don't just throw down blocks of housing over and over trying to rush it. 😁

Anno 2205 is I think still my favorite Anno mainly because of the setting as a huge scifi fan. 1800 is probably my second favorite though :)

Im just getting into it - im at my third game and I improve every time. But I still struggle, I reach artisan and I fell like my production is under controle, but my income just keeps decreasing - My guess it is my production, thats only usefull for me (Like stealbeams, bricks ect. - stuff you don't sell in your city).
@Shiftry874 жыл бұрын
For those who is watching this in 2020 there is no longer any need for a calculator and this among the best changes ever made to this game. Click on your income and u get to a new screen with 4 tabs and select production. In there every single goods u are making and what your population are needing on each island. It also displays how mutch of each goods u are making compared to how mutch u are using. For example. If your ppl need 4 of workcloth/min but u only produce 3 it will show a (supply of 3) your current production vs a (demand of 4) what your ppl need. But ofc we get into a problem where u could run out but both numbers show 4. U could be using 4.5 but are producing 4.1. This is where the color bar comes in and with it u can very easy and fast identify if u are slowly runing out or slowly increasing the supply. If u are very slightly under producing increasing the work condition by 5-10% may be enough to offset this instead of spending maintenance cost on a new building.

Yeap!! I also have the guide for it on my channel 😁
@Shiftry874 жыл бұрын
@@TakaKZbin Yeah that was a good 1. I did comment on that but have changed my name after that. I noticed u missed the part where imported goods dosent show up in those tabs. Cant remember if u mentioned that in an later video or not.

I saw season 3 and thought I'd watch how it started first. You may already know this but I found a easy money making trick, its silly but you buy coal from Eli for 20 coin a ton and sell to Archie for 32 coin a ton.

The language filter gets upset with the Puffadder because "Puff" in German is derogatory for brothel. I am mostly surprised the language filter a) affects German text and b) they thought to put Puff in there.
