It's good to be able to come back and see your videos, and it's good to see a fresh, new start, to aim high again. Hopefully, the wars that arise will be more manageable. With this first colony, hopefully we will see a glorious empire, with a city structure and decoration that only you can do! I will have a little marathon these days to catch up on lost episodes and catch up. As always great video!

You're probably there by now, but I just got to the New World in my first new game since the update. I love that they've revamped their islands and removed most of the crazy rivers. It was worth starting over just for that!

I need to periodically clean out my auto save files. When there are 1k+ files, I get an error to cloud save.

I had a cloud save that disappeared, but i could find it in my local save files and go from there didnt loose anything

Do you get more productivity from the potato and sheep farms because you place more or are they just ornaments?

Just ornaments. Just fun. Now if you go back later and add any items via trade union, or add tractor barns, they count towards the extra fields you require.

Man it sucks to lose a savegame. If you have OneDrive syncing you could salvage it from there. but yea its better to reduce the amount of battles as they distract from the core of Anno fun. Best of luck!

This game cheats so hard. Willie tried to settle an island in my game with 7 wood and 9 Iron. And the game was going to let him do it too, but his ship was destroyed by a pirate during the countdown timer.

i played almost all anno´s but 1800 seems overwhelming with all the stuff you can do is it hard to start or rather easy?

Absolutely, but some of the mods are really worth the upgrade. I highly recommend Docklands, bright harvest is basically a must, sunken treasures gives you cape Trelawney.... So many options. If you can afford it I recommend getting a complete edition or planning to upgrade over time

@@Morne_Smith it was voted on in a community poll. The larger part of the community wanted a fresh start. Doesn't matter anyways as my file was lost, Ubisoft cloud save failed after I wiped and reset windows.

Honestly, I feel like this is for the best. It would have taken another 5-10 hours of scrambling just to end the wars and scrape up influence to continue, and many more hours to normalize everything. Now, we get to take what we learned into a new save and map with peaceful AIs
