I could totally relate when you mentioned having to include services rendered in church as community service...absolutely spot on! And yes, you do look like you have taught kids in the Sunday School 😀. Thanks for being fabulous, thanks for the great invaluable tips, and thanks for giving your time and resources possibly to serve Jesus. God bless you!

Actually, CV is different from a resume based on where you are. What is referred to as a CV in the US is a resume in the UK.

For the publication section, can I mention the newsletters that I have written? I have 6 years of experience doing this for my organisation. 3. For the final section, References, besides their names, should I include their job titles, email addresses and telephone numbers?

Thank you for this video. I have just edited my cv and it looks crisper.. lol. Still I will appreciate if you could elaborate on what goes in the research experience section (in a graduate application cv) and the length. How does the research experience section differ from the publications and technical competencies section. On a lighter note...This community service of yours (like we say here in Nigeria "mad o"...lol) is very apt and much needed for our Nigerian and perhaps international community. Thank you, Thank you Thank you.

Hello from a new subscriber! What are your thoughts on including freelance work for different companies doing different types of work? Also, I am applying for grad school for graphic design. I studied graphic design in my undergrad and because of this, they might be expecting more than just 12 point Times New Roman. In this case, do you think it would be acceptable to use a different typeface to design my CV, but still make it very legible, simple, and clean to understand?
