Announcement: New Video Series, new book, and an Event!

Bill announces a new four-part video series -- forthcoming (hoarseness has delayed recording the final bits and pieces!) -- a new book published on March 21, 2023 called The Things We Make: The Unknown History of Invention from Cathedrals to Soda Cans. @@user-ht5ce2it3z No, I was thinking of posting the same comment too, because the it's the opposite of an excerpt of the opening sequence of Avatar: The Last Airbender. This phrase (When the world needed him most, he vanished), as well as variations on it, such as the one found in the comment above, are used quite a bit in memes, or just as comments in and of itself. You have to know the context of where the sentence is from in order to understand the punchline of the joke.
