Great episode I used to go to his smoking gun tour..my good friends used to bring bulls not that JC Ward didn't have enough bulls they had a super good rodeo back then.. they had scat cat,Flintstone,BB Red,Pole cat so many good ones this was the mid 90s... ward rodeo company still produces great stock today Colgate Oklahoma proud

Great episode id like to get my dad on here Rob Vickers from Mississippi was a tie down roper he could tell a lot of good rodeo stories from the 80s 90s early 2000s

Ol Wes is a good fella I used to get on his stock back in the day he took care of the cowboys always I knew he would have some awesome stories as well he lived it to the fullest scat cat was a good one he was famous before Charlie Johns scat cat ol Jim Richard’s was a hand he had a arm the size of most peoples legs lol and army tank tough too Chris gay was a great guy to he coached at Wharton college when I was a freshman in college man Wes brought back a bunch of memories with his stories
