It may have felt awkward but you didn't come across that way at all. Well explained and you came across as calm and not sweaty at all. I'm up for trying Discord if you want to do it. I have my sons to help me figure it out. I haven't been brave enough to try a zoom or video meeting yet. Not saying I wouldn't just haven't done it yet. You having one would be a big incentive to give it a try. Have fun on your vacation.

We might be the only two people left alive who never did Zoom! That's a real achievement, I reckon. Votes so far are 100% either "let's do it" or "idk what Discord is" so I guess we'll probably be giving it a go soon enough!

I only know what a Discord server is (sort of) because of my sons. They all use it.

You know like an old-school chatroom? It's basically like a chatroom but with different channels to keep things organised, and good control over notifications so you don't get spammed all the time like with most other group chat things. It also does voice/video calls, but those make me sweat profusely so I mostly stick to text 😅

I'm late to this so I don't know if you set up a Discord. I'm already on there for gaming & it's how hubby & I communicate all day while he works in the next room 😅 I've not been in a crafty server, so I guess I'd say I'd try it.
