Yep I’m glad I sold this car now tbh, nothing but stupid problems which end up being more money than serious problems 😂 I’m in a suv now so I’m good.

Not true about having to use the paddle shifters in sports mode. If you put it in sports mode it will shift much earlier when accelerating using the automatic gearbox. Re your hands, I thought the problem re the paddle shifters would be if you had small hands! BTW, I start my car when it is in park mode then select reverse, or drive or sport! Never heard of anyone trying to start an automatic not in Park. When you are driving you can change from Drive to Sport and back again to your hearts content just as you can change from automatic to paddle.

If you have it in sport mode and have manually shifted, it SHOULD hold gears. That's the whole point. Put it in drive and it will kick down. Put it in sport and leave the paddles alone and it will kick down a bit earlier than it does in drive. But as soon as you use a paddle, you're in manual mode and it will hold the gear you've selected. (Up to a point)

Never in any other car I’ve been in with actual sport mode does that! Not even my SUV now. Sluggish from Ford.

Hello from the USA! Just looked online quick about that instrument panel, and yeah yours is indeed very similar to that of our Lincoln MKZ. I just got myself a 2019 Fusion Hybrid SE last Friday (2022-01-21) and it has the analog speedometer in the middle and two screens adjacent to it. I performed a software update on the SYNC 3 infotainment system at home with a USB drive, it's now running v3.4 which does have a slightly different appearance. The day mode looks weird with the new update, so I changed it to stay on night mode with automatic dimming. I do not have the color-changing ambient lighting, or at least I don't think I do. The shifter is also different, yours is a traditional lever while mine is a rotary dial.

That explains it then thanks man that’s cool. I’m sure mine can’t be updated any more Thanks for watching to 🤟🏻💯.

How did you turn off the door chimes. Mine are a nightmare. If I go - settings - vehicle- chimes ...it just says - Information. Literally no options for turning them off 😢

Hi, I've got the manual. I love it, apart from the chrome. Do you know if a honeycomb grille, like the Vignale, will fit? Let me know please.
@DjwXMci Жыл бұрын
Yes it will fit many people opt for that anyway, they’re cheap enough tbh. They look 10x better. Thanks for watching!

Hello fella, just wondering if your car makes a tapping noise on a cold start? I think I have the same engine as yourself and mine will always taps away until the engine gets warm, I brought the car only 3months ago and everyone tells me this is normal for the 2.0 diesel engines, even the dealership that sold it to me but I have always owned diesel cars and have never heard a tapping noise like on my Mondeo, its a 67 reg with only 55k miles, I would say it sounds like a sticky lifter and when the car is warm it sounds like any other diesel on the road, is this something you've ever noticed on your Mondeo? Thanks
@DjwXMci Жыл бұрын
Yeah mate I thought the worst to, I got mine with 77k on the clock it’s now reached 110k with the same noises. It’s since they switched to using Peugeot / Citroen engines. Nothing to worry about anyway. I hope that helped.

@@DjwXMci thanks mate, appreciate that, I was starting to think I had a ticking time bomb on my hands 😂 I must admit I've done 5000 miles in 3month and it hasn't got any worse, other than that annoying noise they seem to be great cars. Thanks again

How to play music via Bluetooth from phone?
@DjwXMci Жыл бұрын
Add “ Ford Mondeo “ ( Fusion ) to your connected devices under Bluetooth on your phone, then go on audio using the infotainment screen and press sources and you’ll find an option for phone.

@@knulleriboy reader i’m getting told some work and some don’t etc. the software is by Forscan themselves isn’t it? like a free trial etc.

@@DjwXMci I would not recommend that. I know a person who did that on his audi and after a year his flywheel was breaking, and it happened twice to him and he found out later that it is because the fly wheel is made for a set amount lb of torque. So, if you do remap to higher hp, you would need to change a lot of parts in the car that can handle that kind of hp. Not only your clutch but also your springs and a few other parts such as turbo would need to be changed in worst case scenario. (it really depends on your car though and what is built in)
@IulianPatache-rf9pj Жыл бұрын
Re-mapping to 180hp without gearbox remap will kill your gearbox within 20k miles or even less .Some people call this powershift 2 gearbox the powershyt 2 gearbox lolfor some obvious reason , it s a real crap gbox .If you exploit it extremely gently and if you do the maintenance slightly earlier then the manual says they can be pushed to 150k miles without opening it
