I have a 2013 Fusion that I bought new and I love it. Sure, it's had some issues with the transmission and gas purge valve, but when I look at it, I can't help but smile. Beautiful design. Still looks classy after 9+ years.

Is the gas purge valve the thing that makes them hate new gas for a couple minutes? Lol. Only issue with mine (2014 2.0 Ecoboost) is 100% guaranteed at every fill up, it’ll kind of sputter about at low RPMs

I have a 2018 Mondeo too, the 2.0 Hybrid titanium. Very comfortable and, if you deactivate the Eco settings, it has a nice amount of power. Great purchase till now, at least.

When you are Rolling the windows up or down remotely if you press the button a third time you can stop the windows from rolling all the way up or down this is a good feature if you want to leave them cracked a little on a hot day. Also if you go into your settings menu you can set how long you want the remote start to run 5, 10, or 15 minutes. I'm not sure if these are available on your model I just have the SE, you should have these considering your model is a higher tier model 👍🏿

Go in the Settings and make sure the Auto Lock is enabled. Just get out and walk away. My 2020 Fusion Platinum has it. You explained the auto windows and remote start much better than my salesman. 🤘🏻

I own a 2014 w ecoboost + 6 spd MANUAL, and LOVE this car from day one.......fun, great 38 MPG Hwy, smoothest + solid ride in any late model car driven, brakes are smoothly linear.........the best choice of a new car in now is my 16th car! Sorry to see it killed by FMC. Was designed in Europe to compete w Passats, Audi A4 so a true smooth, road handling vehicle w sharp looks with the optional black 18" on white platinum paint.

I use the windows down feature all the time in the summer to vent the heat out. Works great. The door handle lock is better than most I have used.

Working in home health in Southern CA I use the windows up and down feature from the fob numerous times every day. So nice to flush the hot air before you even get to the car, and convenient to be able to not have to roll up windows before turning the car off. Love this car.

Tks for sharing. I would like to add up, that just to make sure the remote start went through it will blink a GREEN light confirming that the car started. If blinks RED then it means the car didn't receive the command. I hope it helps.

I have the 2018 Ford Fusion Platinum Hybrid. Black Exterior and White Interior. I absolutely love it! Did you get the Ford Sync app to remote start your car? It will start the car and depending on the weather will turn on the AC and Seat Coolers or Heat and Turn on the Heated seats.

It will also put the transmission in park with the car on if you open your driver's door. I have a 2017 platinum i would think you should have that feature too.

Had a fully loadef 2016 fusion with ecoboost awd for 6 yrs. Didnt like all the unecessary luxurious stuff because it was all slow or just didnt work right. The tires were absolute trash. Would explode on pebbles. But, the car was fast as hell and fun to drive when there were no issues. I miss it sometimes. Especially in the summer. Loved the sunroof. Now i have a 2018 f150xlt with the 3.5l ecoboost. Love everything about that pickup. Not one problem so far a year and a half in. Hitting 100k probably in 2 weeks. I miss the speediness and sharp turns of the fusion, but i wouldnt trade my truck for it. Fusions are great as long as you dont get the factory slims!

The windows opening works on my 2011 Ford fusion hybrid as well and it lifts the moon roof glass in the back. It has a different remote than yours.

I have a 2013 with a sunroof and when the windows go down the sunroof will crack. If you have the sunroof completly open and go to roll the windows up it will also close the sunroof

Another "secret": if you have a USB port in the front (in the hole below the infotainment screen) you can conect your phone and use some apps on that infotainment screen. I don't have Navigation but by connecting my phone that way I use Waze and Spotify on my car screen. Very cool feature

It appears that Ford kept making improvements right up to model year 2020...depending on the specifications/model/trim level. BTW, Ford has continued the Fusion/Mondeo in other markets with a new 2023 model with somewhat radical styling.

This is not true: Turning the 17 ford fusion off in drive sets a transmission code. I believe that means it's not great for the transmission motor circuit A. (I appologize for my error. This is a feature as well as a diagnostic test, and only sets a code if there is a problem with the GSM)

Hey! This car saved my life about 3 weeks ago I hit an ice bank early morning going to work at 120 kmh roughly Got some serious air and fractured my L1 disc (20% compression) Car called 911 and reported my location I’m doing well and making a fine recovery! Didn’t know there’s literally airbags everyyywhere lol By your knees, windows, doors and I believe the seat buttons pack an airbag as well to protect your hip area.. an airbag deployed somewhere down there anyway! So I just went and bought the exact same fusion again only white!! 😅 LOVE LOVE LOVE this car and I’ll never take it for granted again!!

I just got a 2017 ford fusion and mine doesn't have that remote start option which is weird to me. It has the trunk, car alarm, lock and unlock buttons and thats it. Edit: Mine is a Hybrid, not a regular gas vehicle. It uses a secondary battery also for like city roads going under 40mph. Now it makes more sense.

PS...tons of special/unique/upscale features on my SE model...a few - windshield wiper swipes one extra time after delay to clear fluid off -4 doors fully finished in wood grain accents + leather/not just fronts - best in class and above safety features in 2014 w same package - many more, just a terrific trouble free car with the unique 6 spd Manual! PS drove a Acura Integra, 2023, 6MT,and the ONLY feature I liked about it over my Fusion was it's awesome radio...hardly an upgrade/keeping my car for many more trouble free years!

May want to check your state's laws regarding tint. They all vary. For most states though 35% is a good rule of thumb. It will help when you decide to sale.

Hello, one thing that I really Hate about my Ford Fusion is on the ceiling between the front windshield glass and the ceiling fabric material there is a gap of about a quarter of an inch across the whole length of the windshield and you can see right in there and the ceiling fabric material has gradually came away from the ceiling and it's looks frayed and ugly. It seems to me that something is missing there like a a piece of rubber trimming or something to hold the material from coming away from the ceiling. Is your Fusion ceiling like what I'm explaining? No one seems to know if these cars were made like this, bad design or if something is missing. Thank you for reading my comment and thanks for your video!

The car will not roll away,even if the car is running ànd still in drive position.🤯 when you open the door and come off the brakes.the car will go to park by itself..😊
