Little foxes who annoy big dogs can get an unwelcome surprise when the dog's patience wears out... or when Mom has had enough of it. But big dogs are usually so forbearing it's uncanny. Probably because they know they could really hurt the little one and they don't want to. Cute video.

Red foxes have to outwit coyotes and wolves and evade them, they can handle a captive dog with ease.

The issue in this case is the owner is unwittingly interfering with the natural hierarchy between the two animals. She should let the German Shepard scold the Fox. This is much healthier for them both in the long run than interrupting that natural order.
