It’s time to restock our small Texas Pond with Tilapia to help control algae and floating vegetation. We stock our pond yearly with Tilapia in the Spring but they typically don’t survive the winter so it is time to stock them again for 2024. Join us as we make a visit to a local fishery to purchase the fish and transport them and reintroduce them into the Pond. Last year’s batch did a good job of controlling the algae and we expect the same for this year. We do have some issues with small alligators and maidencane encroachment, so we could use some advice in the comments. Watch as our canine friends help us with the job.
