it is only gender dysphoria with hormones, sex op and presentation of being a feminine female. femininity or inner femininity doesn’t = female.

Her voice is so smooth. While not being a standard feminine voice, I’m glad she didn’t change it or try to alter it. People sometimes lose their voices (singing) when vocal changes (natural/medical) occur. Macy Gray said in an interview she once had a high voice and stopped talking because of bullying. Now she has one of the most recognizable voices in music. My point being this woman has an amazing voice and I really want to see her live

The music of ANOHNI is so powerful. I feel so dead inside and hopeless. Thank you for your music it describe my feelings so well. Its like getting a big hug from a stranger telling you that she knows how you are doing, rise and keep on with your life. Suicide is not an option. I feel so much alone in life even with my friends, girlfriend and family. But that's just part of life.

@@AntoinMhicArtain no I mean she's transgender so gonna have a deeper voice I think it's nice though. A lot of women sound screechy lol.

@@AntoinMhicArtain guessing you are probably trolling though cuz transgender people seem to get a lot of digs or just outright prejudice in the KZbin comments bit sadly. At least you didn't respond with *his speaking voice ..usually what people like to do. As I always say most transgender people probably face a lot of shit in day to day life ..as in more than us non transgender people (assuming you are one) so why not just be kind to them and make it a bit easier really. If you're not trolling though I apologise just a bit over sensitive cuz of the stuff I have read here think I spend too much time in the KZbin comments bit haha.

Love her music and her name. How she spells it is fucked up, though. She pronounces it Anoni so why the extra h?
@stephengambill85333 жыл бұрын
Why not? It's her chosen name. If you need a precedent, John has an h in it too, unpronounced.
@uncomprehendingly Жыл бұрын
And how the fuck are you supposed to pronounce your name? “Traests?” Why not change the spelling? Right. Exactly.
@francoveritas210 ай бұрын
Evidently such minimal enunciation disparity is irrelevant to everyone else except you. We live in a world conflicted with huge issues like wars and other significantly relevant things, I humbly suggest you listen to our beloved sister and her remarkable talents and earn attention for the right reasons, not just a childish tantrum. Have an amazing time doing so please!!

I admire Anohni, but some of her ideas strike me as idiotically contradictory. She says that having 30% of women involved changes the culture, so we should have even more. You can only base such an opinion on gender stereotypes,, and Anohni is herself someone who felt so unrepresented by the gender stereotypes of her biological gender hat she went transgender. By choosing how people should be proportioned according to their gender, she is assuming that people, other than the special exceptions like her, conform to gender stereotypes,. A lot of us don't at all. I find it logically flawed in such a transparent way and frankly offensive.
@angelaryder777710 ай бұрын
No I disagree, I think the point is that femininity is inherently different as an energy to masculinity, and that’s got nothing to do with her own gender identity. She clearly channels more feminine vibes than masculine vibes! I definitely think the world would be a better place generally if women were properly represented amongst decision makers of all kinds. We are 50% of the population after all. In a patriarchy, is it any wonder caring responsibilities are not equally shared, such issues as reproductive autonomy, affordable childcare and violent crime against women are not prioritised, and still represent major obstacles for us? We’ll never feel true equality until we feel properly respected in the workplace and in society.
