My idea about the mobile science lab: they may use many helicopers used to transport the bunker at once. Maybe these yellow things on the outer corners of it are supposed to be attached by special ropes to four helicopers that would then carry the thing. Idk tho if this would work

If I'm not mistaken multiple countries IRL experimented on mobile bases using multiple choppers to carry a large structure in a single trip. They would use 4-8 choppers or even more depending on the structure's size. But was later abandoned due to the complications of such transport method. One of those countries that experimented this method was the USSR.

@@anomalousdugout9557 Well in SoC you can see Mi-6 (retired in 2002) next to the bunker. Those helicopters were used as air-lifts and can hold cargo of 12 tons. Lately in history they were replaced by Mi-26 ( produced from 1980 and are still in service) which can hold up to 20 tons. I am not sure now but i think both of helicopters were used in Chernobyl disaster in our time line. Not to mention you can see Mi-6 all over the zone in places like Radar, Chernobyl NPP and cut content Truck Cementary has around 6 of them in center.

on the building that you find zulu,you can parkour onto the piece of the broken floor (on the same floor the anomaly is in),after acessing the upper floor you can jump through a window to another roof,you will eventually find a piece of bread on top of some papers (texture)

Great video, as always. The Perin gas can be a reference to the real-life Sarin toxic gas, which was used as a chemical weapon. Also, in SoC, you can find a somewhat similar looking barrel in the storage room of the bandit's base in the Dark Valley. As long as I'm not mistaken, such barrel cannot be found anywhere else.

NATO chinooks are capable of doing similar things with cargo containers, the containers are basically shipping containers you'd see on ships and depending on the weight and situation you can see 2 chinooks carrying the container, it's very rare because they're very vulnerable to attack and it's also not economical either, but I personally like to think the military shoved so many gravi artifacts in the mobile lab that one helicopter could pick it up

Im not quite sure where on earth the SoC isn't canon has popped up from. They are quite clear the whole reason the zone is growing and getting more messed up in CoP is because of Streloks actions in SoC, he ends the group. Also, did you notice there were 4 flaps on the bunker? They never mentioned how many choppers it would take. Now 1 sure, thats not gonna carry it... but 4, 1 on each of those flaps? Easy, then you move the stuff in when its set down.

About the bouncers, In Stalker 2 there is a unique armor called "Mercenary's Light Suit" and part of the description reads "A suit upgraded for the Rostok bar bouncers."

I think the idea of the bases being deployed is best explained like you said with modules, there's probably a bare, simple version with basic walls and first floor. Optional additional protection can be added depending on the job at hand, something to protect from radiation, types of anomalies, emissions, mutants, or gunfire. The materials of which would change depending. We can see the Yantar base has a helipad as the roof but the one in Jupiter has a lookout station, and is draped in camo tarp, this setup suggests a long term study of the zone and protection from hostile wildlife, a safe place to shoot from up top and a door for quick means back into the building (though this door is unusable in game). I would imagine Yantar's is fortified against psi emissions specifically, thus more vulnerable to mutant attack which is why its always stressed about Snorks harassing the base.

I have a theory about Perin B3 gas. The convoy is located very close to the waste processing plant. Maybe soon after the anomalous Zone appeared, government was considering releasing it into Zaton swamps to get rid of mutants but they needed the facitility to mix it with water (since you know, it's a gas).

I think the Skull theory is good, but it could just be that he was Duty all along, and was tempted by the price the mercenaries gave him for killing Lukash, so he would disobey orders anyway cause he would make a lot of money.

I have my doubts on Sidrovich's involvement with the mercs in Cordon. He is most likely neutral towards them. It's possible he didn't care about the attack due to the fact that Mercs has more money than the other rookies in Cordon. More over, his bunker is well defended. He can lock himself inside and radio for help if things got hairy.

6:50 interestingly, there is a bit of dialogue with (I believe it is the guide whom you save from the dogs in ShoC) Guide in ShoC, where when you ask for information on the zone, he says that "3 km to the North is the Garbage". However, it is only about 600 meters from his location to the garbage. Perhaps there is some strange bubble anomaly things happening between the transition points

12:08 the mobile labs have 4 of those things at each corner (1 per corner) of it and some can be seen flat on the ground hinting at the idea it was not 1 but 4 helicopters that bring it in (a single Mil Mi-26 can lift 20 tons so 4 of them can lift 80 tons)

The mobile labs most likely are modular, with the different levels underground you mentioned in another video. So it'd be pretty possible for transport choppers (maybe something like the s-64 skycrane) to carry sections of them. Top Tier Stalker content as always!

The transfer points definitely lend to the idea that they are further away from each other then just a load screen. When you pass the military checkpoint into garbage and turn around the checkpoint is nowhere in sight. same with cordon to the swamp. you enter through a tunnel.

About mercs in Cordon. Remember, that suit in the attic of rookie village is mercenary only after the last patch to the game. In unpatched version, it was usual loner sunrise suit.

I think that:. When you got to the cordon after you was in the X-18 you got that quest where you help Loners defeat Mercs but i think that Sidorovitch hired them to steal Military documents in the checkpoint. Bucase when you killed them Sid give you a quest to steal them bucase his Mercs are dead.

That reminds me, apparently in Clear Sky, there are random, inaccessible space bubble anomalies in every map. these space bubbles are not used in any cutscenes or in the paths teleporting you to the next area, as these space bubbles teleport you to seemingly random areas. (there is one in the northern part of the Army Warehouse that will teleport you to, iirc, the north eastern section of Agroprom.
