Fun fact: If you crawl on the wall just before Venom starts reappearing again. He will pull you off and say either “NO WALL CRAWLING!!!” or even “GET OFF THAT WALL!!!”

Yeah, his web and arm stretch attacks are quite possibly the cheapest boss attacks in history, he just grabs you without fail and whacks you and you can't do anything about it... XD

Use the web cannon ball (Up + Triangle buttons). It's the ONLY effective weapon against him, even more so in Hard difficulty

I discovered a glitch on the N64 version. I don't how Venom can stretch his arms, but let you, if he does that, and you web-yank him at the right time before he tags you, his arm will stay long for the rest of the boss fight.

On the Nintendo 64 version of Spider-Man, I defeated Venom with only web impacts on hard mode without getting killed by him. Web impacts do more damage to Venom than punching and kicking.

Venom (and the symbiotes in general) is an exception to the Spider-sense, so he can catch Spiderman off-guard. Invisibility is the simplest way to convey that.

If that's true, then how was Spider-Man not able to bump in to Venom while he's doing his disappearing shenanigans as well as Spider-Man not bumping in to Venom when during the subway fight? I thought he had the power of teleportation. 2000 games are weird.
