Yes!!! I was waiting for another video about "those thype of pieces" if you know what I mean hahaha Thank you for the recommendations. Because of the last video I'm learning Borodin Petite Suite, and now again I'm finding something new to play

Amazing! I may do one of these, but for the 1st movement of Moonlight Sonata

Can you do the exact same video but with harder pieces? Like "Another 5 pieces to play instead of Chopin's first ballade" because I think the ballade is very played among pianists

Liszt’s Romance s.169 is so underrated and is one of my piano favorites 😔

It's amazing how Tchaikovsky can create something so charmingly beautiful out of a simple ascending scale... it reminds me of how he created something astonishingly majestic from a simple descending scale (Nutcracker)!

I really like Chopin's Nocturne in C Sharp minor.

Great video and great suggestions. Have you considered Gabriel Grovlez’s Petites Litanies de Jèsus?

Thanks, Tim! I haven't heard that, so I'll check it out :)

@@FrederickViner No problem. It from a collection by the composer called "Almanach aux images" from 1911, I believe. Beautiful, impressionistic piece. I am more of a composer than a pianist, but I love playing it, and it is not that hard (imo).

Great video, this will be really useful for beginner pianists. :) By the way, I don't want to look like a spammer, but a few months ago you told me you were interested in checking some of my compositions. I posted a new one not long ago, although my best piece is Nostalgia. Just saying in case you forgot or you were busy for a while haha. Have a nice day!

Thanks for the comment, Ivan! Is it 'Composition Challenge 4'? Could you send me the score for it, along with 'Nostalgia'? Would love to take a proper look :)
@Ivan_17912 жыл бұрын
@@FrederickViner No, it is "A Sleepy Apology". The challenge is a little thing I hosted to encourage other composers to write something. What is your email? I will send it to you there if you want.
