The witch avoiding stating the terms of the contract reminds me of my teachers when they said they wanted us to go on a certain app in our free time and I asked them whether we had to do it or whether it was optional. They said "Well we'd like you to do it" and I said, "but do we have to?" and they said "we'd like you to" and no matter how I asked, they said something along those lines so of coarse, I didn't use the app. It sounded like it was optional but they didn't want us to know that but they didn't want to get in trouble for lying.😅 More of the story ahead that's kind of long: But I'm glad I didn't do it because the app was literally like "write out the word tree" and stuff like that. Like really low intellectual level and I was in year 8 at the time and the app was clearly made for very young children. It was frustrating because it was part of a group I was put with because I had difficulty explaining things however they assumed that you were there because you were awful at english so the whole session was like a low ability english lesson and I don't think anyone there was low ability, we were all just put into this group, without them even checking to see why we were all individually there and working on the individual issues and the app was just the same. But what's worse is that if you got top in the app, you got called out in assembly and I felt so bad for that boy that got called up but luckily I think most people didn't know about the app so they didn't know that it was clearly aimed at young children but at that moment, I was so glad that I didht do that app in my free time like they wanted me to.
