We were also thinking about getting bassinet that will rock the baby to sleep. But our midwife advised against saying that the baby will develop the habit out of it and will not fall into sleep outside of it. We did not want to risk it and decided against it. Plus, those things are way too expensive for the short period of time the baby fits into it. So we did it all old-school - holding/rocking her in our arms, regardless of the hour.

The more I see how Alex interacts with her baby, the more weird vibes I get from her. She's like a lot of women in my family. And they just gave birth because it was expected of them. Get an education, get a job, get a man, get 1-2 children, and you have done your duties as a woman. When the children are old enough you can return to work...Those children don't have a healthy relationship with their mothers, me inclusive. I don't know how many women, who really wanted a child, would give anything to spend so much time with their baby and partner-a partner who doesn't have to go to work. But she prefers to put her child into a crib that does all the work for her. Her husband does most of the night shifts. She runs errands like there's no child at home that needs her physical presence. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those things going to happened: A. Anderson becomes like Bruno. Being happier to see his dad than his mom and just tolerate his mother. Or B. he's going to try to get her approval and love for the rest of his life.

I personally like to buy clothing from Anthropologie and Free People-idk what she means by those being “barrel” fit. They are not lol those are definitely just wide leg pants, especially when I compare them to the ACTUAL barrel fit pants that I own from FP. They are TOTALLY different. Cropped shirts/sweaters do not suit her body. And I do not say that because she is bigger. I think the cropped style looks good on Anna O'brien because she has a more hour glass shape. Alex is bigger on top, with her belly being the largest part of her, so the cropped style does not look good. I get trying to stay on trend, but she looks so much better with longer shirts.

I buy jeans from Anthro and FP regularly-they definitely are just straight or regular wide leg. I have FP’s barrel jeans and they look and fit NOTHING like that. I honestly don’t think she could wear the actual barrel jeans. They fit specifically, not for all body types for sure lol
