Yes, "4" is on purpose. It's the Kanauru special. Kiara was unhappy with her original 3D model's ASSets, so she got upgrades.

Kiara said it's only half on purpose. And she requested Kanaeru to put something on some number. And then they realised the choreo happened to have a squatting motion right on 4 again. So they just zoom on it at that point, which they did on purpose. So they accidentally made that line up, but they zoomed and turned camera angle on purpose.

So, the thing about pressing 4: on KZbin, pressing the 1 will take you to 10% through the video, 2 takes you to 20%, and so forth. What happened is someone noticed that at 40% on chimera kiara stuck her booty out (not planned as far as I know), but then she asked the animator to put something in this time, too. 2:22 those are professional backup dancers, a first for her. The footage used to make this mv was taken from her recent 4th anniversary 3D live (also called Mirage).

Kiara's character design was made by Huke, who is known for the character designs for Black Rock Shooter and Stein's Gate. Aside from her talent with music and her trilingual (She speaks English, German and Japanese) one of the features that makes her well known is her Holotalk segments where she interviews other Hololive members, and she has interviewed VTubers outside of Hololibe, like former Nijisanji-EN member Nina Kosaka and others.

the dual black/white outfits have been pretty much exclusive to MVs made by Kanauru as they are unofficial, and so far have shown up in Do U, Chimera and now Mirage. The black version of her original outfit was also use in the Fire N Ice MV which is a duet between Kiara and Mori

Honestly bagel I feel like you need to check out the Hololive Shuffle Medley’s if you haven’t. They consist of a bunch of Hololive vtubers doing short snippets of other members songs (switching to the outfit of the member who’s song their doing) and they actually do the 3d choreo to the songs too. Hololive has done 2 so far for new years of 2023 and this year’s new years. Actually the one for this year had La+ one of the top dancers in Hololive doing Kiara’s “Do U” and nailing the choreo. Also after this MV came out Kiara did a talk stream where she talked about the choreo in this and she mentioned at one point where she is leaning back the back up dancer behind her was actually supporting her not wanting her to lean back to far and fall (yes those are actual people dancing with her)

Short answer about "4": In Chimera it was an accident, in Mirage she wanted something similar but it was the animator Kanauru who made it happen (he tweeted out how he had to work around the choreo) Speaking of Kanauru, he started in the community doing loads of fun little fan animations (his earliest ones are 3d mocap in IRL environments. Imagine the girls visiting an anime convention, or playing in the arcade, that sort of thing). Would recommend checking out! P.S. if you look at Kiara's pupils up close, there are skull designs in them

most of outfits in videos are specially made for the videos "4" accidently happend in chimera but kanauru (person who made MV) put booty shot in this one on purpose there were stream after MV where kiara went into details (as much as she could) about creation process and all the struggles she had with this MV (there were quite a few) this has become my favourite kiara song..i never thought anything would top SPARKS for me... very cute room

Something abt the Mirage audio that bugs me so hard is the KNOCKING. I dunno if yalls notice it, but it's so uncanny i think it's just not addressed much but it's noticeable. Like am i the only one??? Its in the Album recording, MV and concert so i know it's intentional but it drives me crazy. I can't even listen to Mirage without getting distracted by it 😩
