Diesels can survive a lot of km, i have a 1.9tdi with 430k km and it has had anything done other than timing. Just keep an eye on oil, at least on mine it goes throught 4L of oil every year, the cylinder eats it up because it has never been serviced (rings and head gaskets i mean). Other than that, diesels are pretty reliable, at least of my knowledge

awesome man if you get it, it will be a great purchase they are rock solid and the low deck is awesome. drive it well . pro tip for the first few weeks use the manual controls then use the remote. things can get out of hand quick with the remote. also get some cloth straps with hooks to hook up with the low cars. lastly if you cant find where the hooks are, go to the low control arms are the first place to hook up to. I hope you get it. ( yeah i have done towing for a long time)

the slots on the rotors don’t really dictate the orientation. it’s actually dependent on the vent style located in between the disks.

The clamp bendy bit looks to be 3/4" Loc-Line, for the cheap ones add some armature wire inside.

If you buy this truck...YOU HAVE TO SR20 SWAP IT! You have to! I think it's more than enough place for a 4cyl Turbo. The stock motor is also 4cyl turbo and seems to be the same size.

I worked on a ton of these, you have the better version in my opinion, mainly for the exact reason of the pto lever like you said its harder to forget its engaged like when you have the push button pto... Most of my work was repairing or replacing pto parts due to people trying to drive them with it engaged 🙏🏻

Sam just save the bed from heavy use you should ask for a pulley system so you can pull-up the cars with out putting the bed down or if a car hard to push on to the bed...if it doesn't have one ..

it doesnt have ramps or a bed... so not possible my dude. Its designed to go up and down and its hydraulic so your not wearing anything out apart from lines and the motor which again are designed for that exact purpose and isnt an issue.

From what I have observed they don’t seem to use enclosed race/car trailers like those of us from the United States commonly use. Is there any specific reasoning behind that? I’m assuming some of it is a spatial issue since things over there are a lot more compact, and space is a premium where Americans are typically known to live in excess with a bigger is better mentality? Yeah, no space on the roads for those massive trailers and no diesel pickups the size of a truck to tow them. You couldn’t even drive a dually on some UK roads, Japan has even narrower streets, especially in town.

bro i bet ya its always had services and its never been rebuilt/ my navara qd32 non turbo just ticked over 1 million ks and only just had valve lash done and now needs fuel pump looked at as it just started leaking and only just does 100kmph so ive lost power since valve lash was done im looking at turboing it to wake it up after fuel pump gets looked at or if i can find a recked nissan terrano and use td27 fuel pump and turbo and exhaust manifold and dump pipe. you look after a diesel itl look after you sammit.
