3 eggs
2 to 3 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 1/2 cup ap flour
2 sticks butter (room temp)
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
2 cups oatmeal
Mix eggs and vanilla and add cranberries and allow to soak for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350°
Mix flour cinnamon and baking soda
In mixer bowl Mix butter and sugar. Add in flour mixture then eggs and cranberries. Finally add in oatmeal.
Scoop by tablespoons and bake 12 minutes

Leslie, hold a cotton tea towel on top of your mixer( kind of like a “tent”) and let it hang on the outside of the bowl to keep flour from flying out of the bowl when initially starting your mixer. As always enjoyed your video.

For those of you who were praying for my great grandson Cayson after 12 days in the hospital they finally figured it out and he got to go home last night. Since your friends own that little store I would try to do business with them more often, get part of your groceries from them. We had a little meat market like that where we lived years ago & we bought all our meats from them. It was all fresh cut that day, sausage was home made. Just so good. We also bought other things from them too. We also knew the people.

My funny story about brains and eggs . My mom loved them but couldn’t cook them. They grossed her out when precooked. Mom would leave the kitchen daddy prepared them then called her in to enjoy! I never ate them!

When I was small....my paw paw used to trick me into eating brains and eggs. One day I asked my grandma why her scrambled eggs didn't look like paw paw's....she said because he puts pork brains in his.....ughhhhhhhh. Took me years to get over that...never ate his scrambled eggs again...lol. Cookies looked great!

When my grandma (mother's mother) was alive, she came to visit us from Pittsburgh (she is originally from Roanoke, VA) when I was young. I woke up and she was cooking. I went in the kitchen, and she asked me did I want pig brains with eggs. I respectfully declined.

My daddy loved brains and eggs and I used to eat them when he sort of made me and I didn't mind them too much until I found out that they really were brains. They were kind of peppery. But I would never ever eat them now unless I had not had anything to eat for weeks and there was nothing else available for the next several days.

Loved the pork brains story. My Mom went to work when I was in 5th grade. My sister was in 3rd and brother in 2nd. She packed our lunches. One day I opened my lunch bag and it looked like a roast beef with mustard sandwich. Tasted soo good. That evening when Mom and I were doing dishes I asked if I could have another sandwich just like the one today. She said "oh did you like that?" I told her it was soo good! Then she told me it was beef tongue!!! I started gagging and said don't you give me that tomorrow! She said but you loved it and I said not anymore!!! Have not had it since. At bottom of cookie recipe write down size of cookie scoop used. Love your channel!

Speaking of cookies (and chocolate, your favorite), have you tried the chocolate chip cookie recipe on the Ghirardelli chocolate chips package? Oh my gosh, it makes the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. I made them last Christmas, and they were so delicious! I gave them as gifts to relatives and neighbors, along with my traditional pumpkin bread loaves. Everyone in my family loves pumpkin bread! I hope you try the Ghirardelli cookie recipe. So good!
