He's not actually necessarily advocating only BTC, he's advocating open blockchains. BTC has many glaring problems that would need solving. Monero comes a lot closer to the vision of something unstoppable, untraceable, uncensorable etc. Bitcoin leaks information like a sieve, and its capacity is laughable.

If there weren’t so many contradictions in what he was saying I’d love it! The BTC network is public but transactions are essentially anonymous due to the address' not giving personal info... noone knows who I am or what address I have for example. Same with satoshi..theres always that level of anonymity. Zcash is a private public blockchain...

Andreas thank you for sharing your knowledge !!! What is your opinion with btc which has been traded in the system in illegal way for example the recent Plus coin scam? It looks like in future we will have two types of BTC, one which is registered and one which is floating around the exchanges and in ppl's hands which has been distributed through scams. This could cause a huge problem to people and to the efficiency of the ecosystem, and decentralized exchanges could even make easier for such coins to get into the hands of normal ppl who would purchase them without knowing they were not obtained properly, thus they may also loose the right to use/own them. TY
