That airport off Hwy 101 has been there over 30 years. I am 60 and all that land south of Riedville rd was peach orchards on both sides. There was a peach shed across from QT where peaches were processed. I worked there in summer of 1976 when I was 14. Ate peaches for lunch each day. Love it.

I should be jealous of this guy, but honestly, having watched more than a dozen of his videos without yet subscribing, the only thing I find myself doing is pulling for his continued success. You think you want a Pete, but you don't realize how spoiled you are to the tight turning radius of the Volvo, and to throw a wrench in your thinking, Volvo is lightest, then the International LT, but not as much room in the bunk area. I drive a 2020 LT with a TK APU, love it over a Volvo, but Volvo is still fun, like a fat chick ;)

It's an interesting world. I just relocated out to the Carolinas from Wyoming. My wife has a friend in Greer, SC. that we visited a few times, and we loved it so much we moved out this way. Not only that, but my wife has been suggesting I get my CDL and drive truck, and get out of mining. All of this, and i just so happen to come across your channel. Correct. Haines is the largest floor covering distributor in the US. I’m surprised Justin hasn’t run into them before given their territory is FL to PA. They do some brokered loads but inbound is usually contract carriers and outbound is their own trucks or Ryder managed. They have a fairly large fleet. HQ is in Baltimore at the airport. That building in Concord is new.

If he would branch out more he might get more loads but spend more in fuel maintenance but he wants to stay close to home and not adventure out to far

Next time around Concord NC try Harrisburg Family House Restaurant 10 minutes (on right close to 7.9 mi) from exit 33 from 485 Outer. Was working in the area and loved it. Ribs are fantastic. Good turnaround behind.

I’m from Ringgold Ga, Making Cents hometown, but now i live in Orange County Ca....lost my job due to corona and working Grubhub/Ubereats to fill in the gaps etc. Ive been thinking of offering to buy your truck, i heard you mention maybe selling. SoCaltrucker has a mentor program, and I’ve thought of offering you and Sammy money if you would consider the same thing....i miss the south and would like to come back and buy a truck etc. Sorry for the jibber jabber....but my question is....about the undercutting etc. I appreciate all your sharing of knowledge, but aren’t you worried this undercutting will start to happen more regularly as you are putting the masses up on such game? What is the trade off or return for you? I understand you get info in return from KZbin, and some revenue from it etc., but is it worth it with the chance people may start to invade your space and what you have going on? That airstrip is Chandelle Airport (Greer SC.) The runway (03/21) is only 3,700' X 50.' Okay for small planes but IMHO too short and too narrow for corporate jets.

Stay Away from the Pete! I went from a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia 15 liter 475hp DD to a 2019 Pete 579 13 liter 450hp paccar with 12speed auto. Cab is way to narrow and very small. Build quality is terrible. Rattles and squeaks. On delivery and ride with salesperson the hood was completely out of adjustment and oil was leaking from one of the rear seals. This was after 2 days of prep. Sad part is the pete was made in Texas and the Freightliner was made in Mexico. Built quality and materials used in the interior were much nicer and had a feel of quality.. Ive been a driver for 44 years mostly all intrastate runs. Takes a different breed to do what you guys do and my hats off to you. God Bless and a bleesed holiday season to you and your family.
