Great video bra👍. I agree with you that $250 an hour for service at Maserati is rediculous. I recently had to pay $210 for just 5 mins of service on my Maserati GT. Craziness.

I think we should all get together and start our own Maserati GT repair service center....I make good money, but not 250 an hour good...lol.

@@corsaitaliano1164 thanks man! Ya it doesn't make sense to bring it in to get the tpms fixed for $250 at this point. I've lived with it for an entire year and it doesn't bother me at all lol but yeah $250 is just way too much

I think that it's not so much the speed that wears out the wheelbearings,. More likely it's the big wide rims with ultra low profile tyres and poor roadsurfaces that cause this excessive wear. The bearing on the kerb side usually wears out quicker than the one on the left.

I have a 4200GT Cambiocorsa coupe, the F1 transmission is backorder in Italy and it is almost impossible to find F1 pump as well...
@RichardCuico4 жыл бұрын
Ya the F1 transmissions are so hard to come by and impossible to fix with parts taking forever to arrive

I have the same 2012 GT/MC and I love this content!! I can see that you are going to save me a lot of frustration when the time comes! Are you able to calibrate your TPMS sensors in accordance with the owner's manual, or do you have to take it in? That is my next project.
@RichardCuico4 жыл бұрын
thanks man! Unfortunately for the tpms sensor, you'll have to bring it into the service center to have a special tool to sync it up with the sensors. Any Ferrari and Maserati specialized shop should have the tool. Not all exotics shops will have it though.

Thanks for sharing the cost of the maintenance and sharing the video of parts procured and installed. I install all parts myself. I call myself the warranty and really enjoy Maserating 🔱 Everyday. I have a friend who works for a Mercedes dealer and has an expensive tablet car computer that talks to his 2008 Maserati and probably (hopefully) my 2014 Granturismo. Yes, owning any exotic will be a drain in anyone's wallet, for me is just the parts. The labor would be me making love to my Maserati 🔱 lady. I am getting to know her better, we ha an understanding, she lets me have some beers when I touch her rough🔱. Again thanks for sharing your videos.

Thanks Johnny for tuning and sorry for the late reply! But ya as long as you do the labor yourself, you're fine!

would be nice if you could suggest ideal model (like the tpms u said 2013 solves it without the dealership) What about the coolant hose leaking more than once keeping you stranded any models or permanent fixes?
@RichardCuico4 жыл бұрын
in my opinion, 2013 and younger are your best bet. If you're concerned about problems, get a car with its pre-existing warranty which you can extend for an additional 2 more years. For the coolant hose, unfortunately, that's one of those problems that you have to experience to fix. When you're dealing with exotic cars, there aren't too many fixes you can do that would be permanent.
