I met a lot of i will only drive a Scania brigade over the years, people forget all the complaints of how uncomfortable the seats are and they breakdown like every other truck. The end of the day if a job pays and your boss treats you well it does not matter what badge is on the front.I drove Scania's over the years from the 143 to a V8 with manual and auto box also my firm had Renaults around 1980 they ran day and night 7 days a week across the country.

Firm I deliver parcels too bought a brand new Renault Hiab wagon in late 2020 and so far its been a very reliable tuck for them. They were reluctant to buy it at the time as they were looking at 'bigger' brands, but were forced into it as stock availability had dried up on the other manufacturers and it became a case of 'if you don't get an order in now, you'll be on a long waiting list'. Definitely and underrated brand.

great Vid Kev, that Toyota Hybrid looked a nice motor even for the high milage, I bet that will go into auction, looks too good to scrap, although you hid the number plate when loading it, it was seen at the end when the fork life carried it after lifing it off your transporter

I am surprised how quick you can clock a car, but there again my grandfather bought a Mk2 VW Golf brand new, and had clocked it around 7 times with his work in a 4 year period, not to mention the times he would take an artic out on the road, the Golf did last longer than that as he passed it onto my grandmother to do what she wanted with it which she did clock up a few miles with it nothing like my grandfather was but still around 10 a year until the timing chain snapped when I was about 13'ish. so in a 7 years it had done aeound 750,000 miles. they don't make cars like that anymore!! lucky to go down the road without your car being written off in an accident.

another great video..😉😉. can not hear you when your go pro etc is mounted outside on the back of your truck audio is very quiet like its not going through your microphone just a fyi when you drive a hybrid toyota when you start it says on the dash ready in a green light..and you can tell a hybrid when its running will go from hybrid to engine and you will feel it start up and run if it does

I was thinking the same. I’m guessing the labour was pushing the limits for that little car. Not sure what it’s like elsewhere but garages in Bristol seem to be charging some crazy rates for labour at the moment.
