If I've learned anything from gaming creepypastas, it's that levels without enemies, ESPECIALLY if they go on for 5+ minutes (because no one would've just turned the game off/taped the forward key down and gone to get a sandwich by then) are one of the scariest things in existence. Though not as scary as music being slowed down. Or reversed.

Tachikaze316 For me personally, I only found that effective when I first got into creepypastas. Now that I'm a seasoned reader, I'm pretty finicky about the stories. Anything that reuses formulas such as the one in this video, in addition to the mediocrity of the level design in this game (seriously, all it is is just the original level with all the obstacles removed), this gets a very low grade from me.

Well, the text file translates from Vietnamese, and because Vietnamese has special accent marks that can't be opened by word pad, about half of it is cut out, so here's what I mannaged to translate: Hello! ---? ---- Girl ---- --- my puzzle called "WHEN IT OUT ---" plase research --- image ---- the ---- ------ goomba! Over all, I mannaged to look at when the files and when they where originally made through the zip file without extracting... The first two files where made literally with in two minutes of each other, and the ROM itself looks like it was done thirty minutes after everything else. In 30 minutes I'd like to think you could do at least a little more than that, but who knows. That's all I could find, but I'd personally chalk it up to a shitpasta.

I think the reason having no enemies is considered scary is because it's a sign that a powerful creature/entity/monster is in the area. I think I've seen this get used in games before. The problem is that a lot of people copied this idea/element and it all became a big cliche. Also, this rom is a pile of crap. How was slightly changing the rom suppose to be scary? This video should of been titled "Another Cliched Private Message".

I can explain what happened at 12:05. There's a certain invisible sprite used by the game, four blocks high and one block wide. When you exit a diagonal pipe across that sprite, it sends you flying out diagonally and you tend to land a good screen and a half away. Normally the sprite is placed inside a solid object. This person, of course, modified the object layout and not the sprite layout. There is now no solid object, so you get to see how glitchy the sprite is when you actually interact with it.
