"Another Day Of War" (1967) - The United States Air Force in Vietnam - REEL History

This film chronicles a typical day in the life of United States Air Force personnel serving in Southeast Asia. Scenes highlight air and ground warfare, air rescue, flight line maintenance, civic action programs, and food service activities.
Scenes highlight air and ground warfare, air rescue, flight line maintenance, civic action programs, and food service activities. Captured Vietcong, plane dropping leaflets and broadcast to Vietcong, Vietcong using a safe conduct pass to surrender, shows Air Force doctors treating civilians in remote area.
Air Force Combat control team parachute into a Vietcong infiltrated area followed by large drop of paratroopers, aircraft attack Vietcong ground targets, large explosions, pilot ejects from damaged plane and is rescued by the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service using a hoist cable and tree penetrator as helicopter hovers. Flag covered coffin is carried onto aircraft.

If the politicians and the industrial complex had only let the military fight this war, we would have seen a far different outcome!!!

Well agreed. If they had let them invade the North I believe the US could have won the war but they ordered them to patrol fight and be only in South Vietnam. To win a war you have to invade and the US forces did not invade anything they were just there to help secure the SV cities and government. Again an invasion of NV with a lot of bombing of the North could have won the war for the US and SV IMO.
