The gimbal feature is for when it connects to a computer. When you connect, it locks the gimbal as when you shut it off. Before when disconnecting from the computer the gimbal would rotate back to on position. Now it stays locked. So if for example the pocket 3 is lying on your table the gimble will not rotate and hit the table when you disconnect from the computer.

I would like to see Lock mode as one of the modes in the Gimbal Mode options instead of having to hold the joystick button. Seems like that would be a simple update.

Absolutely agree! DJI is on a roll with those updates for the Pocket 3. It's like they're turning it into the Swiss Army Knife of cameras - now waiting for the built-in coffee maker update! ☕😄 #Pocket3Magic

If I go to the presets that I have saved, also scrolling through videos, photos and my presets, if I let go of the joystick after a fraction of a second it confirms that choice on its own and exits the menu, is this normal? I would like more time to read and make the choice manually, but as soon as I release the joystick the choice is confirmed. Thanks for the reply.

the selection time thing is real fast, I think that's normal and some folks dont like it.

DJI website not listing this update for me to download and camera doesnt see it either, last update 2023.11.29 I am in Australia. I have been trying for past 12 hours. I am also getting a network error message but wifi is working. I guess I will just have to wait until it arrives downunder.

This is so huge, and your right shows exactly why DJI is top in the game. They saw insta that the hold to delete so, they say cool we will firmware update to match. What took them a month to match. Love it.
