Great video! I think its good to remind everyone that Another Eden is a gacha game at its core, since people tend to take things for granted after all the free strong characters from collabs and so on. Like any gacha game, if you dont pay with money, then you will have to pay with time/patience and bear with the salt. With that, resource management becomes really important. Even though i bought some stones (only pulling on SDEs), I also already started planning out whether to summon/skip for the subsequent banners. :D

Yay Dad talk with Gamer Dad! Okay first and last time I say that... maybe lol. I think it's important to be patient and plan very hard especially in this game, speaking as a dolphin who has a fair bit of the cast at this point. I think grinding is also incredibly important in this game too. RNG is gonna RNG but eventually you'll get what you need... it may not always be what you want, but something you'll need now or down the road. Planning, grinding, and saving are I think the biggest keys to success in this game...possibly gacha's in general - maybe patience is a possible fourth because salt is a thing that has to be dealt with.

I think one of the lessons I learned as a F2P Player is to be resourceful on the characters you have. I remembered one time where I have trouble in beating Ch.13 Guildna and the Azami CEs which helps me to understand the importance of buffs/debuffs. Fast forward a bit, I recount on how I beat Gariyu manifest with mostly free characters and learned how to loop. I relied on Mariel and Akane AS (which I got her upgraded thanks to RNG), Amy, Joker, Mana and Gariyu back around May 2020. As of now, I managed to obtain around 121 chars (both free and gacha).

Having to budget myself and go back to being F2P sucks. I’m realizing how many 5* units i had actually gotten from fatefuls. (Sure there were lucky pulls with free stones but fatefuls are amazing) the only character i will be pulling on money wise is AS hozuki. I have the OG but i’ve budgeted myself for her. Fingers crossed since i want that fox waifu

With regard to manifest weapons, one thing that's not obvious is that, if you have the 4.5* version of a unit who has a manifest, e.g. OG Yuna, OG Suzette etc., if you upgrade them to their AS version (with a gacha pull or using treatises/chants) you can get their manifest weapons, even though you don't have the 5* version of the character that can take advantage of them. Each one is another 150 chrono stones and a head start on leveling the manifest if you ever get the 5* OG character.

Great stuff! Personally I like collecting the characters, it's a big part of my fun in the game. I'm f2p so it's not easy, but I don't mind struggling a little bit more with the hardest content. I just really enjoy finally saving a decent amount of stones and trying to grab myself a new character or two even if they are not the top meta. I still don't pull in as if I have the og or in banners where I already have most of the featured units though. Also, I think the game is well balanced with the story units, whatever gachas you get and a good strategy/grasta set up to do pretty much everything you want eventually.

if you watch the 5 addiotional ads you can get a little bit more than 1500 CS, but yeah, I remember when it was 30 CS per day. Those were dark days.

I upgraded to AS Foran manually about three months ago. Since then I have got AS Foran three times off banner. Oh well, the extra light doesn't hurt.

I'd say absolutely as she's the only Magic Zone setter in the game outside of turn one Melissa. I think any form of her can be considered a win as you'll eventually be able to farm her treatises.

I have 18k stones just for her. Not gonna lie, I have the feeling I will not get her, but I'll stop as soon as I get her, even at 4.5*. Just like Will said, as f2p as soon as you have the character, the important part is done, the rest is time.

Currently I would suggest all f2ps to spend those nopaew gems on tickets as much since the vc grasta requires tons of farming not to mention it boosts light farming

That's only if they are missing all the zone units. That banner's value drops if you have a few of them especially since we all can get AS Foran, and we have Cress as a slash zone.

Im f2p and never pull on a new banner kos I got heartbroken for alter shion (spent 8k cs and got nothing). And now I only draw on normal banner, luckily I got many strong unit such as AS hardy, AS Yuna, AS nagi and many standart 5 star. Yeah normal banner doing great for me

Wil, I don't know if it's possible, but I would love to see your opinion about salt and how to best face it, especially if you can't get the character you want. Also the question how you hold off pulling sometimes on a banner if you for example in this situation already spent several thousand on a banner and didn't get the character.

The average is one 5* per 3K but RNG can treat people bad as well. Hope you hit a 5* soon!

Hey I have been watching your vids recently and still not sure where I am going wrong I.e I have a team of 6 lvl 80 5 stars two of which have their manifest weapons albeit not max level and they all hit enemies like they are hitting with a pillow. For example with a full another force bar I can maybe do 80k-250k damage but in your exp grind video with half a bar you are doing 750k-1mil. Can you maybe do a real dummys guide?

Im a F2p that rerolled a lot before start, im at the early elzion quests , i have those 5* = Nagi ES , Tsubame AS , Melissa , Dunarith AS , and Radias , but the last 3 times i pulled ( 10 shots) didint got nothing good ... SO, f2p is gamble ...

It's around one 5* per 3k stones, so missing on 3k is not great, but it's on average as well. Over the long run a F2P can do well if they plan their pulls.

They serve different roles. AS Renri is a fire dps with guaranteed crit buff for the team. OG Renri with manifest is a non type slash dps with very good defensive debuff capability. If you need pierce zone, then definitely wait.

Welcome to AE! In your case, if you have NO form of the unit, AS banners are a great way to grab the unit, especially if it also features the NS version (which can sidegrade to the AS form).

Morgana and Yuri hopefully can fill the need temporarily. Of course Rosetta, and some zone setters can heal a lot too. Don't forget Dunarith, Yuna, and others. Hope this helps

I would recommend eventually upgrading all story characters to 5* especially if you don't have a lot of 5*. Aldo is always useful, but others are good too. I've upgraded all of mine.

Hello, can anyone help me here? Im getting back to the game after a long time, and I lost my old account, so Im about to hit Rainbow Radiance. I have a team of Victor, Hozuki, Philo, Dunarith, Erina and Ciel. Im confused between Earth and Wind. Wind, I have a risk of getting dupe Dunarith, but also many other great units. Earth doesnt have that many amazing units, but there is less risk of getting a dupe
