The fake grimoire is a distraction. We saw it in action just before Stark broke in to do the rescue of the graf. Lugner sent the other demon to search for the grimoire. Before she died, Flamme told Frieren to live in obscurity and to not leave her name in history until she defeated the Demon King. So not doing anything she felt to be praise worthy in the eyes of the Goddess would have been her goal. Also, at the time of that conversation with Heiter, they had not yet defeated the Demon King, so she was still trying to live in obscurity.

Who closed the door oO?! Small funfact: to prevent a cardio arrest you should warm a other body only with a another body. Any other source of heat is probably to much and the blood pressure could drop drastically cause of the widening of the vessels

They mentioned back in something like episode 4 that heading north it's much colder. So the clothing isn't just because of winter. Also, side note, snow IRL looked delicious and I ate it all the time as a kid
