Another Exhaust Fiasco!

Three caes in the yard have exhaust problems, but I have the middle section of exhaust for Nigel, and the way I go about it may leave you... exhausted! Yep, that's a joke.

There are new discs that look like hairy sponge type thing for the grinder that eat paint/rust that do a great job. Also screwfix do a finger sander cheaply that works wonders. Treated myself to both... you can only struggle for so long before enthusiasm wears you down and you don't feel like tinkering

Theres something alluring about the Rover 25 that makes you want to use it dont you agree Paul,I have an early 45 as well but my early 25( sienna gold like Nigels original colour)always gets used locally because its sharp and nimble.Good video Glad you sorted the exhaust..

Ive just thought , you could do with a big mirror to set up for putting the cars on the ramps you could even put some white makings on the floor so A you know where the ramps sit and B you can line the car up easy ....... work smarter not harder is my thinking

Seeing you climbing under that car relying on those (tacked together) ramps! make me a bit nervous, You Can never be too safe! Especially when it comes to doing the 800 Chuck a couple of old wheels under it for protection! / back-up not only can these ramps break! also they can spring out! I know that as i have some identical.

Absolutely, these cars need to be put right especially if it’s a straightforward consumable item that can be done reasonably cheaply if you shop around. The sooner you spend the more return on your investment…. Been there with my Fiat Brava, on exhaust and batteries.
