I'm so glad I found your page recently! I'm in such an extra fantasy romance mood and love hearing your thoughts. That heat aspect sounds... so weird, lmao. I would love if every book contained a piece of art - I am definitely adding The Song of the Marked to my TBR! I am the same about bingeing books. I just did that with the Plated Prisoner series and I'm so close to finishing Gleam but I'm kind of like... omg, when is it going to end? Lol. I also didn't realize how much longer it is than the first two. Still loving it but definitely should have taken a break, lol. I think you might like The North Wind if you haven't checked that one out already. I will tell you that I found the plot a weird combination of simple/confusing. BUT - the characters are really fun. It's an enemies-to-lovers story and they are hardcore enemies. He is a frost god whose powers are a little out of control and she is a human whose parents died due to cold/hunger essentially, so she wants to kill him. The heroine is a super tough female but it's not too "in your face" and she is an alcoholic which the hero eventually helps her with and that whole thing is so emotional and sweet. And they get to that point where they are CLEARLY attracted to each other but they won't admit it and so the hero, especially, will tease her about it. I loved it. Not perfect, but a really good time!

Just started watching your videos, and I love your content! A book that I would recommend that’s similar to TOG in terms of the main character being a slave and getting out of that situation to fight for what’s right, is the “War of Lost Hearts” series by Carissa Broadbent. It’s really good and has a bit of a slow-burn romance added into it I really like it! It’s also by an indie author and I believe can be read on Kindle Unlimited as well as being able to buy a physical copy of it. I hope that it piques your interest! 😊
