The only issue I have with the Sicily is the handle because it feels a little cheap..... The Capucines does not have any portion that feels cheap!!!

Personally, Capucines is the winner. Made of the highest quality leather, and yes, I think it’s overpriced if you’re buying from a boutique, but a 100% keeper for the price you bought it.

The Sicily bag has been on my radar since I saw Rebecca wearing it on Ted Lasso! I prefer it to the Capucines because it looks less structured (that’s just personal preference…they are both beautiful!)

The Sicily really is such an amazing price! I was honestly shocked when I saw it on the website but I guess it is because it is used and not that popular

The Capucine is the winner by a mile! The DG bag is nice, but I have issue with the top handle, it looks a little cheap. I have a Capucines BB so I might be biased, but it’s just a classic. Also, the DG looks like it would easier to dress down if that is more your vibe.

I also find the top handle to be the area where the Sicily FAILS miserably... It is just so freaking CHEAP and I don't understand what they were thinking including it in the end design.

It’s a nice bag but it is not the same caliber as the capucines. I personally don’t like the DG. The leather looks cheap on the DG, but keep what you think you will use.

I do agree that the D&G is very "basic" in a way... Nothing really lets you know that it is a luxury handbag but I think that is the beauty around it... I mean I do think the Cap, when really comparing the quality, is the better purchase.

I think they are both kinda sleepy, but keep the one you will use the most that fits your lifestyle. The d&g is different & smart looking. What's your personal style, aesthetic? Sporty? Casual chic? How would you style it? Joggers and t-shirts?, dresses & skirts or jeans, shorts and a t-shirt?

Soooo the dolce one is definitely more timeless. I would think… if you were to never ever see that Dolce one again… how sad would you be? I dont really like bags with a flap. I like zipper or open. I also prefer taupe than cream. You already have a Capucines. The Dolce one may be gone forever. I prefer the capucines color and structure… even if it wasnt LV. But I understand the history w u and the Dolce. You can alwwwaaays get that Taupe Capucines. id keep the one that you need the prettiest in but is also most functional. Maybe even lighterweight to carry. Wear both out and then come home and see how you feel.
