Open source did a really good job at animating the jumpscare but I think the sound they chose for it was not as loud or scary as the original. I also have one nitpick about the jumpsacre which is the scream not being in sync with the jaw movement of the animatronic. Overall it's pretty solid and can't wait for more recreations.

I liked the original jumpscares the most, specially the Marionette. Iwas really disapointed in AFFOS. Appearing just in front of you is a smart, badass and scary move, but not so when she just pops up in front of you to say "Hi" in Loud-ass Robot language. Though, the sound direction is *amazing.*

Something I appreciate about Open Source is that not only do the Withereds have a different and much more viscerally human scream, but it actually sounds a lot like the FNAF 1 scream, which is a great bit of continuity considering these are in fact the FNAF 1 animatronics.

I would say that I like OS's buildup to the jumpscares more except for Foxy's. Because he doesn't dive bomb you like in OG FNAF 2. Though I like that all the animatronics in OS incentivize different strategies instead of just "Freddy Head" and "Prize Corner" for all of them. Of course, Foxy being the outlier since he still needs to be flashed with the light.

I really like the new animations, though maybe Foxy's could've still shown how he comes running towards you through the hallway. And J think the Withereds move a little... too smoothly? But like, not all a them. I think Chica is the exception. I also wonder if it would've been a good idea to include some screen jitter.

I personally prefer them jumping at me. I know they're heavy af robots and all, but considering the animatronics decide to jump at you means they're real serious on get you. Specially the Marionette, she's a strings possesed animatronic and she can fly. Why wouldn't she jump at you?
