For all the problems with FC 24, the worst thing of all is how the game forces you to play the meta instead of having fun. I hate champs for that reason. Staying in a mid level division, you can use players you enjoy, play different formations, use your own custom tactics, and actually have fun playing around in matches. In champs, you basically just have to spam finesse+ shots and cross to Haaland and score corners. Everyone is playing the same formation, the same handful of players, the same boring switch from side to side over and over and over. The grind is good enough that you I don't need champs rewards anymore. I think I'm done with WL for the year.

I have never been good in champs regardless of my team. EA seem to adjust even the game play experience even in each game mode as well as old gen/new gen. I have noticed the same team can move and react differently in squads and then be different in rivals or champs. Always hated EA making playing chamos to complete objectives a thing. The actual thing it did for me was make me care less about getting player objectives done and playing less because of it. I dont see what harm it does for those same rewards to be achievable by playing rivals if thats all you really can play as a competitive mode. Feeling its time to finish up with the game now. Its done in about four weeks anyway and you get very little in promo cards packed, and the sbc grind shouldn’t be so time consuming when its nearly august for a game most will stop playing soon.

That's because the people you are playing against suck. Do you know what META even means? Clearly not. Your the same guy who plays Call of Duty and reports every person who kills u as cheating. People play online TO WIN THE GAME. not to allow you to have a good time.

@@50CalSwag_ I don't play COD...chill bro. I'm not opposed to the game being competitive. I'm opposed to the poor balance of game mechanics this year. I'd rather we have a game where 30/32 players in the world championship aren't using the same formation bc it's clearly the most OP.

Had one of the craziest champs games this weekend that ended up not counting cuz of that BS champs glitch. I was down 5-1 in the 1st half, ended up tying it up to 5-5 by the end of the 2nd. Then it went to 7-7 at the end of extra time and I won 4-2 on pens. I was 11-6 at the time and was going for my 12th win. You should've seen my face when I came back to the champs menu just to see that I still had 50 points with the same 11-6 record. SMFH! I was sooo pissed tf off that I just gave the rest of my games away and settled for 11 wins instead of 14

Yes golazo icons should be removed. They really should just be giving you the highest rated version of a players icon. Tired of seeing golazo icon for bobby charlton knowing his gotg icon is also in the pack….

I'ma be real, actions have consequences...if ppl get punished for taking advantage of an exploit, the outcome is warranted. Is it EA fault for screwing up the game to where the glitch was possible? Yes. But EA doesn't make ppl do the glitch, its a choice. What happens after making the choice is a welp...

What about when EA gave a bunch of people TOTY Messi, for a small window? Or when there was literally a glitch where you could make your player untouchable and just run through the pitch and score? Both of these on FC 24. Shouldn’t EA receive consequences as well? EA aren’t banning people because they care about their TOS and a good user experience, but because FC 25 is around the corner and they want to keep their “reputation” clear to keep the sales up. Why would the community listen to EA, if they don’t listen to us?

There is nothing harmful about doing it though, you get an Al Owairan and don't have to grind with mid players you dont like in AUGUST, and your opponent gets a free win. The only reason EA are banning people for it is because they added XP for games played 2 days earlier.

@@RanielEber Actually is harmful, what if the opponent is trying to evo a play whom needs goals or assist? That slows them down from completing that part of an evo. No matter the exploits, anyone taking advantage of any exploit in any game should be banned or suspended. Simple.

Not to mention someone who might be trying out a loan for an icon, that counts as a contract. If a lot of ppl are doing something, its possible most of the contracts go to waste.

I’m certain the company can’t ban anyone for their own mistake? I also believe they break laws by making the previous games and their online playability obsolete…..if a person has bought a product and invested lots of money for example, then surely the product must be 1) advertised as only being available for a certain period before aspects of the game are ceased and more importantly 2) how addictive gambling packs is and a warning in place and helplines etc maybe even some kind of safety limit like gambling sites have in place………100% certain consumer and other laws are broken I heard about the glitch, tried it, it worked and thought f*** it! I’m doing it after nothing but struggling, bad gameplay and much more, and if I get banned I’ll then conduct the most diligent research ever and locate their broken laws and take civil action…….off to break the rules until al Owairan now hahaha
