It is like Milan Ancelotti or most of Mourinho teams like Chelsea, Inter or Madrid. The scariest thing is, Newcastle now have the best Italy midfielder post Pirlo. The best Brazil midfielder post Gilberto Silva. Not to mention how Eddie Howe able to detect how useless a player like Saint Maximin actually. So many dribbles but failed to deliver in Saudi league and Fenerbache

Loved the video. To be fair a lot of people think Newcastle's rise is thanks just to the rich owners but bearing in mind they didn't spend anything in the last transfer window (which was more or less evened out by those leaving), Eddie Howe has done a tremendous job. Remember NUFC are still hampered by financial fair play rules so can't spend their money with reckless abandon like Man City and Chelsea did, however Eddie Howe is building the club up in the way it should be where eventually it will reach those heady heights of being one of the biggest clubs in the league.

Great video, love that you're giving our club the attention that the medua refuses to give us Just one small caveat... Tonali is sitting deeper in the 6, allowing Bruno a free role, however, it's not a static mid 3 or a static formation. The midfield rotates throughout the game. You'll often see Tonali in the opposition box

Newcastle's transfers so far have been incredible frankly. As far as major signings go a 100% hit rate on them being successful is just ridiculous. A lot of this credit must go to Howe for not throwing major signings in at the deep end straight away despite much fan and media backlash. Paying dividends now with the likes of Tino, Hall, Gordon and Tonali looking brilliant.

Osula hasn’t worked out yet. I’m not sure why he hasn’t seen more minutes, hope he does, I think he can do a job on the right as well as as a centre forward, he’s quick and strong, looks a lot Mbuemo when you see him play.

Nice review - there is one crucial thing you missed in Eddie Howes tactics - when we push there are 10 attackers... and all 10 know that if we lose the ball there are 10 defenders. If the high press is breached - you will still find Gordon, Murphy, Bruno, Joelinton and even Isak - tracking back at pace and helping the midfield and defense on the edge of their own box. Eddie rarely throws a player straight into the first team. Bruno, Isak, Tonali, Hall, Gordon, Livramento, were all gradually introduced over months. The fitness level demanded is intense, but required to play how he wants. And when it delivers it is phenomenal.

Excellent summation on WOR CLUB MATEY, and what a difference a month makes dunt it. Austin TexasToon Army supporters are luvin it. I was lucky enough to get a ticket for the Leicester game at SJP while on vacation over Xmas and felt like a little kid again, the noise and fans singing and the wor flag involvement was FANTASTIC. HTL and looking forward to the second half of the season.

Just a correction, their last won silverware was the Intercities Fars Cup in 1969 beating the Hungarian side Ujpeste Doza 6-2 on aggregate. I am gladly old enough to remember it. Otherwise a good expose of the team and its management. It’s good that Newcastle are receiving all this positive attention, as the so called elite, tend to disregard Newcastle, who are generally a team that a lot of neutrals support, and are genuinely liked as a second team by a lot of supporters of other teams. So I love it BUT BUT BUT...I'm going to give you a bit of a telling off here for missing the absolutely most important player of the recent resurgence. Put some respect on my man Kieran Trippier who joined the club as the new owners FIRST transfer back in Jan 2022. He could of joined a variety of top quality clubs but joined Newcastle for the challenge. I remember the day as I was pumping my fists and cheering. The next year he captained the Newcastle side that qualified for the Champions League and was named Newcastle's player of the year. This team was built on his shoulders because it was a huge declaration of intent and allowed us to show the clubs ambition when signing future players. Kieran Trippier has been the lynch pin for us!

Great video 👌 Edit: Totally agree, *Lewis Hall is probably the best up & coming defender in the league at this time. Tino is also class, room for improvement, but he's an amazing defender. The x2 are potentially England's future defenders for many years to come... Throw in Bottman & shar( who was , like Bruno suspended for the last gane at VARsenal... makes a frightening defense...

Been suffering myself since 73/74 season and can honestly say i can see us finally winning something, the light is definitely at the end of the tunnel. The ridiculous FFP rules are not for the reason they were intended, now clearly just to keep the status quo of the so called big 6 as a closed shop. But that's fine unlike Man City and Chelsea we will do it the hard way.
