I learned other things though. Lu bu showed that humanity got a chance, but both him and Adam lost because they were facing gods in their best qualities. You can't be the strongest agaisnt the strongest god, as well as be the boss against the top chair of the gods. Kojiro, being the first victor, ahowed that you can win against the gods using the best human qualities, instead of the best godhood qualities. That is visible since Kojiro is the incarnation of a forever loser, which is humanity's greatest helper. This point is further amplified with Jack fights too, since dirty trickery and deceive is a big part in human history.

This fight is the best example of how pride and hubris leads to one's downfall. Poseidon could've easily ended the fight in one move when he entered the battlefield, but his pride got the better of him and he dragged the fight to show the superiority of the Gods. All Gods would've won all rounds if they didn't hold back and went all in from the get go.
