i have a gs300 2006 awd 286K km that just started downshifting really harsh from 2nd to 1st. i drove like this for past 3 days and preventing the downshift by neutralling tranny before stops. I just got a check engine light today and a P0756 code which talks about tranny solenoid b short or stuck. ECM needs repair from what i understand

I heard it was the ECM not the ECU that needs to be sent in for repairs - I read on Lexus forum that everyone had the same problem as me ( down shifting bucking from 3rd second and first gear ) only down shifting- and everyone sent in their ECMs to SIA and fixed the problems - I have an 06 Lexus gs430 with no check engine light on and it started bucking on the downshift kinda hard this morning first time experiencing and thought it was time to do tranny flush or service but seems like everyone that did that had same problem and ended up sending in the ECM

First off SIA is a complete joke! Ecu and ecm is just terminology they are the same thing! Why do I say SIAs a scam you ask? Well they tried to copy my repair but don't have the software to flash it as it was built by my IT guy and I. I've had to fix several ecus from SIA with in just the last month and even more over the past 5 year's. For more information feel free to email me @ [e-mail]

This morning turned on the car and for about 30 seconds changed gear into drive and noticed the hard jerk and also into reverse and park- not so much anymore after it warmed up- I drive it around fine - the gears shift smooth upwards no problem 20mp-60mp - I just noticed bucking when I slow down to a stop on lower speeds

no matter what do NOT tranny flush at all, if you want just do a fluid change. (remove tranny pan and replace any fluid that came out). a tranny flush with alot of mile will cause metal shaving to clog up small passage ways causing shift slipping

Hello, I'm from Poland, I have a problem with leather, it shows error P0980 and P0977, i.e. solanoids. I checked the solanoids and they are all working, can the cause be in the ECU?

Brother I have a 2006 Lexus is250 transmission work perfect but after driving for 1 or 2 days shutting 3 code p0761 all same codes! Stock in 3. But I just reset ecu start work good again. How much do you charge to fix the ecu.? Where I can send it to you

Hey, I have an ls430 2005, and I started experienced an extremely strong down shifting from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 and 5 to 6 to od, those shifts causes the whole car to pull you forward, no cel no lights and nothing at all, could it be that issue, is there a way to confirm its the ecu before sending the ecu to fix thanks!

I could be as these cars are getting older, I'm staring to see more and more issue becoming more prevalent. This fix is a software flash fix. To get the software to work a couple of the smd components must be replaced or removed temporarily. I'd more then happy to look it over for you

No you'll damge the drive line.
