Jealous that you may be on the water so soon. I'm here in Western New York and we have at least another month before I can even try to get out. I don't know, it may come sooner but my feeling is at least a month. I enjoy your unboxings I got to say $1,500 of hooks and stuff... Wow! For my Ned fishing I use the Big Bite Baits Shorty Head hooks. They are for ned fishing but utilize a jig style ewg hook for weedless presentations. I really like using them! Thx for the vid. They are good way to relax at the end of the day!

Dude......i have been watching you on youtube for the past like 5-6vyears.....was told to come over and check out the old reel maintenance videos you did by Gene the Fluke master.... but really enjoy a different prespective then a tournement angler or like the googans. Like your one of the guys or what not. Sorry a few days late on this video, wanted to get it in before I watch today's video. Do you bend the point out or to the side on your EWG hooks? I have not tried this myself but I have heard a few others state that it helps with the hookup ratio. Thanks for the video. Everyone loves new toys.

Try this with the grip pin. Put a wacky o ring on the head of the bait before rigging on the grip pin to keep it from ripping out so quick. When it does rip just put the o ring back on your wacky tool to recycle them for the next bait. Then Mend-it when you get home and recycle those beavers.

Like a BOSS 🙌🙌🙌 The pistol or offset pliers are a solution for something that is NO Problem. I use the standard long-nose pliers 200mm. I use them for small AND big (1 mtr+) PIKE a common predatory fish with around 700 razor sharp teeth in their mouths The trick is: Use the SIDE Doors if the fish is hooked to deep and your hands are getting to close to their teeth. YES move between the Gills and only unhook each treble one (hookpoint) by one, that needs and can be done with small movements. The bigger the fish the easier it becomes Because their gills are a LOT bigger. The 1mtr+ ladies have a mouth the size of a fist 👊. Your sorry ass plier ain’t doing nothing if you attack from the front. Hold the Pike in a certain way and he opens his/ her mouth and it opens it Gills aswel. Now unhook the bait from the SIDE or CUT the trebles whatever you think is better (ALL actions are done between the GILLS) 🤜🤛😗😗 The bait comes out the (opposite) way it went in. Take your time it needs 2-3 steps because the trebles have a tendency to hook flesh, but you get there soon enough. 😎👍
