Josh is right. With glass it doesn’t need to be as thick as acrylic. When thickness is equal glass is stronger

I understand that, but I'm not going 4 foot tall on one inch glass.I've seen too many of my tanks.Have deflection and bowing on it. You build yours your way.I'll build mine My way. I definitely will not be listening to josh on that

It might be worth contacting Snake Discovery about the dweight tank. They take in any reptiles just like you guys do, the vivariums in their zoo are lovely done, and their aquarium at home is gorgeous. I think they could definitely make the best of both worlds with it.

Your OFR channel and OFR Behind the Scenes is the first thing I watch everyday! Great content!! Question: Since the shallow end has such a thin layer of pebbles that the fish can easily swish away, can you just add a lot more pebbles or add more large flat stone to the Monster Pond's shallow end and just fill in the cracks with the smaller pebbles to prevent days of recovering up the exposed little white pool tile so often? I was hoping y'all did this since you first made the pond...Just a thought. Have a good one!

People do have to realize, fish tanks have life expectancies. If you get 20 years out of the tank you're pretty fortunate. Have already been up and running for 15 years. I think the right thing to do is to make custom built tanks along the walls. Out of concrete or wood. Basically three solid walls and then a glass front. The glass front will be pushed against the structure creating a permanent seal.

Yep the joys of big tanks my new filter pump I replaced my smaller old one with the output hose popped out and let loose 300 gallons of wonderful fishy water all over my floor lol just got it dried up today for mos tpart

I like the aqua L aquarium it's a nice rimless tank but that stand is atrocious it looks like it's sitting on a cardboard box lol.. That would be a good aquarium for something interactive cuz it's easy to put your hands in with no lid, but make sure it's something that doesn't jump. Maybe your small fly River turtle so you can train it hand feed like Hubert.

Where can I get custom aquariums like these 250+s made out of wood? I had a contractor attempt but he got cancer and some other issues so it never really went anywhere. I've been trying to get a custom aquarium that is made of wood with a glass panel just like several you all have in your videos. I just don't know where to look for having a custom one done.

It’s a fish rescue, with a 500 gallon tank they’ll prob take any tank they can get, 500 isn’t a small number, in gallons or price, so trying to salvage it only makes sense

It's an easy fix honestly. And the clear span reduces by 2" plus bonding area is 2x

I think you could put a foot or two of water in the Dwight Howard tank and throw that big ass alligator snapping turtle in there. Maybe put it out back on your deck, and leave it there. Heat it in the cold months

There are some white micro-cracks along the rod you put in not very long ago on the right side. There is risk it will happen again with the rods you are planning to put in.

Thats what happens with aging infrastructure. You look back 5 yrs ago and 75% of Tanks have been swapped out and upgraded. With the exception of a few that hold sentimental value. These problems occur in the hobby. It's real life. Most ppl get leaks or breaks and quit. We've over come every obstacle

I'f u have one car the chances of a break down / repair is minimal however if you have 20 cars you will be fixing them all the time don't think it matters how new or old they are it comes with numbers unfortunately
