Buckles look good threaded on a velvet ribbon; if they slip, a few stitches will hold them in place.

Hi, you can display your buckles on a velvet ribbon and dovetail the ends . You can hang them on a wall hanging down or simply laying down maybe draped across a book in a vignette. Happy belated birthday 🎂

It’s a salt shaker, or at least a condiment shaker. In some cultures salt was poured on the plate for dipping. Or it could have been part of a larger condiment set where it may have held something else.

I just got 3 Bibles from the 1800s for $10 and it had all kinds of ephemera in them they are amazing! And I got a journal for $5 from 1942 it had all kinds of ephemera in it as well. I was in a auction and I couldn’t believe no one was fighting me over them. I was like um yes please lol. Always love your great finds thank you so much for sharing. And HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!

Also, that is probably a salt shaker from England or Europe. They are known for pouring their salt on the side of their plate and then dip their items. At least that's what I experienced when I was there.😉

Oh my goodness, you had a lot of nice finds! I especially loved the vintage wedding shoes and the English ironstone. I’m quite fortunate enough to have photos of my great great great grandparents. My cousin has the family bible, which back in the day was also used to store photos and births and deaths. My cousin sent me photographs, since I’m the only one that lives in England,and we thought it should stay there in Maryland. What a fun birthday shopping trip! Your man definitely knows you well ❤ and too funny calling him out on breaking the ornament 😂...My favorites were the tray, the oval frames and red transferware. You and a couple of other people have inspired me with putting out red transferware at Christmas and also using the brass oval frames at Christmas where I put Victorian Christmas scenes in them (printed). Love your haul!

Could the little bottle be a perfume bottle missing the top or perhaps an atomizer. I don't know but it's just a guess. Another commenter said perhaps it was to store hat pins which would be cute if you have any old hat pins with the pearl tops.
