Really beautiful, it's wild to me this is improvised, it feels so cohesive and tight. Thank you for the inspiration to continue to improve my skills on the guitar.

@@LBorowicki No thank you, I have had the pleasure to listen to your music all morning while working, and all of it is sublime. It warms my heart and soul to hear the music you have made. You are supremely talented, and your music has such warmth and range, with a touch of melancholy. It is unique, and in a way, feels like home.

Gorgeous thank you for posting, that has such a pretty bloom sound is there a pedal or just a lot of reverb, i'm pretty new to electric guitar gear, but also have a beloved telecaster, cheers and thanks again!
@LBorowicki16 күн бұрын
@@TonchoBluegrass Thanks! The guitar is plugged directly into the interface, but there’s also a mic capturing the acoustic goodness of the Tele. The only pedal in use here is a BOSS reverb. One factor contributing to the bloom might be the thick stone pick.

I really love the way you improvise!! Is there maybe a way to learn to improvise like you?
@LBorowicki18 күн бұрын
@@18Acht7 Thanks for listening! As for what to practice, I’d like to rephrase my response to a similar question: I recommend focusing on spread voicings of triads and their inversions. Additionally, work on scales and chord tones in positions that complement those voicings. From there, it’s all about experimenting and finding tasteful ways to combine them-trial and error plays a big role. Personally, I try to avoid practicing in a purely technical way, as I’ve found it can make my playing sound robotic. Instead, I suggest practicing in a way that reflects how you want to sound in real musical situations. Another key aspect is touch and feel. I like to think of my left hand as controlling the note from start to finish-almost like playing a violin, where vibrato is crucial. Right-hand dynamics are just as important to avoid flat or monotonous articulation. I hope that makes sense. Best of luck!

@@steveb9325 Thanks. I’m using Harmonic Design Z90 in the neck position. It’s a humbucker-sized P90.

@LBorowicki thank you! So appreciate this cause your tone is incredible! I know it's in your hands; but the pups sure do help. Your tone reminds me of Julian Lage. How do you get a pickguard to fit that neck pup? Sorry for the questions 😅
@LBorowicki17 күн бұрын
@ No problem, happy to help! You can buy a pickguard with a humbucker-sized hole. Just make sure it has the correct number of screw holes to match your setup, as that can vary.

Beautiful playing and tone. What kind of amp are you using?
@LBorowicki18 күн бұрын
@@1965zimmy Thank you! So, the short answer is: none. The longer answer is: the sound is a combination of the direct signal with slightly dampened highs and a microphone capturing all the acoustic Tele goodness. However, there’s a little amp in the room-a Nux Stageman 80-serving more as a monitor for me, so I don’t need to wear headphones. It’s not mic’d, but it does bleed into the guitar mic to some degree.
