Another ISSUE | Himalayan 450 | new problem / No Fix

If your Himalayan 450 get a rear flat tyre, you would have no option to purchase a new tube. CEAT doesn't make the spare tube for the tyre that goes inside the Himalayan 450. WATCH THIS VIDEO BEFORE YOU GET STUCK SOME PLACE YOU DONT KNOW.

You can put any tube compatible, omg... MICHELIN TRASEIRA 17" 1,5 MM (150/70-17, 160/70-17, 140/80-17, 130/90-17) . Just an example..

Royal Enfield is still make good looking but not practical bikes. They grew big on the backs of Indians, making cheap bikes. Now that their brand name has grown, they are double the price and still being tested at the public's cost... See the number of versions of Himalayans till now......

I can completely understand where you are coming from, I am sailing in the same boat, with no confidence at all on these guys. The service center is not supporting the way it has to for a completely new product from RE. which is a shame.

Maybe they did cost cutting on the tube. From the day i purchased, i maintained my tire pressure to the recommended value. However, it keeps dropping up to 5 psi with 200 odd kilometers. I'm not sure if it's my bike problem. I typically use nitrogen for my bikes tube/tubeless, and this issue exists in 450 only

Buy a heavy duty tube. So many brands available, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc etc. You can get light, medium, or heavy duty tubes. They will be much better than the CEAT ones

Get the tubeless conversion done costs the same as a tyre with tube around 10K Friends got them installed on their Tiger 800's, interceptor 650 no issues so far I know it's not cheap but it's a one-time investment

The issue you say happens only if you rode the bike at very low pressure and hit a bump or pit

Dude , I don't know who has told you such a crap thing , you can put any motorcycle tube in that it's just a tube fitting a 18 inch rim , it will expand to fit the perfect in the tire.. heck you can even (if your stranded in the wild) take a 21 inch tube and get going ..its the same tube as in the 411 nothing fancy at all

Buy a quality product like a Honda highness.. Himalayan RE is just an impractical bike for most conditions plus the quality control for RE has miles to go..

This size is not available in the market yet. CEAT TYRES are only making these tubes in a pair that goes along with the tyre. So no spare tube with current specifications. And I just received a call from Royal Enfield stating that they can’t help me with this issue and I will have to buy a new tyre with new tube worth ₹10,000 even if my tyre is perfectly fine and I just need a tube.

Firstly quality speaks..so buy a Honda and secondly never buy a brand new model let it run atleast for a few years all such small issues get corrected and you get a much better product overall with less issues cropping up..i just got my Honda highness in year 3 of launch..no issues at all..
