Hering the same voices again and angain in different mods make the mods feel more vanilla like.

Hoping we get to hear more of them in SkyBlivion/Skywind/Beyond Skyrim stuff. I imagine a voice actor collective has helped make it easier to find actors AND helps them pad out their professional resume. Sure its unpaid work, but its pretty good.

These new land mods that take the player to entirely original locations never stop being fun to me. Falskaar and Wyrmstooth really kicked that off, and modders enjoy the freedom in writing their own location rather than adapting something from the lore.

In regards to your comment about the mod being about a jarl in another hold but that not matching lore, it could be they consider themselves a hold with a jarl, but no one else in Skyrim does. A self styled jarl if you will.

Tempest Isle is in the Strid, between Cyrodiil and Valenwood (Malabal Tor, specifically). But it is Maormer themed, so I can see why that would have you thinking Summerset! Either way, far, faaaaaaaaar away from here. Also looking forward to watching the playthrough. The mod independently caught my eye while looking around the Nexus, and then someone in the comments said you were reviewing it and I was like "hey, I know who that is!"

There is a side passage that will take you down into the lower section, so jumping isn't needed. I broke the quest chain by finding a 2nd bloodlight tome before talking to the kitty, while on my way to him. Just be careful not to get too side tracked on your way through it.

Orcs technically aren't men in this instance, usually "men" in the context refer to humans. Orcs are elves. I edited this comment, this isn't supposed to come off rude. I was genuinely just pointing out something I noticed.

Blood Orcs aren't very common as far as I know, but there is a mod that adds a playable Blood-orc separately from this mod.

There is always room for mods like this one. Island mods simply add more depth to Skyrim since it contains the Sea of Ghost.

I tried this mod on my male characters game. I had to reinstall BEE to get the ship to appear, but once I got that sorted out I was able to find and board the ship. I spoke with Gwyn and finished her dialogue, but when I went to speak with Svadir nothing happened, clicked dialogue again, nothing happened. Exited game, reloaded save and then I was able to get to the Tempest Isle. The custom music is nice, the landscapes are decent, the environmental clutter a bit sparse but not boring. I'll speak more on this, as I'm writing commentary as I re-watch this episode. The linear pathways used throughout the mod, kind of defeat the open world experience, up a mountain its understandable, but relying on them to force the player in certain directions isn't necessary. The lack of interesting things to look at and discover along those paths was sort of disappointing, but nothing that can't be added via updating and polishing up the mod in the future. 11:50 That first fight with the Orcs gave me my first insight that this wasn't going to be a walk in park (I think I was lvl 40-50 at the time). I also agree that this didn't have to be a lore-breaking added Hold. That ship being added as a marked location was kind of pointless, but that's also the type of thing I was referring to about more interesting things to discover in the landscape. 14:12 that cave marked To, froze my game when I tried to enter it, I don't know if that has been addressed by the author as I haven't looked to see if they've updated the mod since I first downloaded/installed it. That passage covered in foliage caught my eye on the way down to the dead end and I went in there first before travelling down the initial path. I used the spell drop zone from Apocalypse Magic to go down into that area you chose not to venture to, it didn't lead to anything story breaking or enhance the questline either way. Spoiler maybe: This mod isn't that complicated where the choices you are presented with have any consequence to lock you out of things from what I've discovered. Since this is pretty much a 'New Loot and Stuff'' mod, I was glad to get the home earliest as possible, just for time saving purposes, which was one of my main gripes about Dragonborn DLC. You're being handed all of this stuff and you have no vendors with enough cash to buy it and no place to store it all, so you're forced to leave a lot of loot behind, or you're constantly fighting load screens to go back and forth back and forth to the mainland. Luckily I also use Ars Metallica so I was able to smelt a lot of the ebony weapons I was finding, which saved weight, but since I also use Windstad Mine I didn't need the extra ebony ingots, sucks to be me right?

The blood orcs reminded me of tieflings/infernal. Some of that could be because of the enb.

Nah, it's not the same other than the color and featuring a Triskelion. But the Triskelion is an ancient real-world symbol that's been around pretty much since the dawn of humanity. It's popular to use it in media to represent Celtic (in the case of Battania) or Nordic cultures.

I liked the concept for Dreamweaver ports of call, sadly the mod is broken and I've heard nothing more about it...Every time I see a new adventure that involves a ship...I hope the interior has just as much time and creativity put into it.
